The Bhoy played as well as he could under difficult circumstances for us.

He acquitted himself well but I figure his future lies away from Paradise. He wasn't getting a game at Peterborough, maybe he can get a chance at Chesterfield. Good luck to him.

Yeah, but he did a job for us when we needed him. I'm inclined to forgive him for failing because of that. He'll never make the grade, but he did show ......something.

Will always be remembered for Ross county 2nd goal at Hampden , the gap he left and lack of speed trying to get back , good luck to the lad ,if he can't get a game for Peterbro he ain't going to be good enough for us

He was our best defender for a spell a few years back when we had crippling injuries.

Thought his confidence was shattered when he was dropped as soon as someone returned to fitness & never looked like he was going to make the breakthrough from then on despite making a few appearances since then lack of football has really hindered his progress.

In terms of him not playing at Peterborough - they do have a great defender in Ryan Bennett (I think) & also some of the loan deals are due to us begging somebody to take him on loan with us picking up the lads wages so its not like Fergie Jr definitely asked for him then thought he was ****, he may well have been given him but not been able to get in for a team who are possibly doing far better than they thought.

Big Thompson was the worse player signed by Celtic this century.
He was young and he was tall but he could not clear the ball more than 20 yards but what made
him our worse signing in 20 years was that he just could not run. I agree Harry he was so slow
against Ross County and other teams, he just should not have been signed.
Big D Weir would still be quicker than him and Weir would have positional sense
and experience. How big Tony signed him is beyond belief.

    Wouldn't go that far ffs.

We bought an 18 year old promising centreback for about £100k who had a trial with Man utd the week before he joined us.

It hasn't worked out but no need to be so negative about a Celtic player who has tried his upmost while in the Hoops.

Thompson was with us for a few weeks. It is not my fault he just cannot run, Neil Lennon realised that and will never have him as a Celtic player.
I know there were idiots that insinuated that Sammy was the most useless player ever at Celtic. However they were simply dim wits most of whom
like Stereo Typist and Tom/cat never attended Celtic games and now they are forced to say admit that Sammy has been one of the main reason why
Celtic have won 11 games on the trot. Tom/cat is still waiting to drive Sammy to his new club.
Poor Thompson is only a Celtic player in name only, this season is spent been loaned out to lower division teams in England. He just should not have
    been signed.

    Dimwits <laugh>

You really are two slices of bread short of a sandwich pal. Sammy's played well for a couple of months. It's the very least we should expect from a bloke who's been a wage thief for the past three seasons.

Hardly a wage thief !! Problem with Sammy ,is the nature of Scottish football Isn't for him , 8/9 defenders outside their own box no space to use his pace to get into, all through his rough times with us he was still a standout for his country

We've won 12 on the trot in the league SH....keep up. <whistle>

Seriously though, how is you giving your opinion on Josh Thompson being a bad player valid but any criticism of Celtic players from anyone else is met with instant accusations and manic nonsense.

You, my friend, are a hypocrite of the highest order.

Young Joshua has earned his hoops on no less than 25 occasions. That surprised me.

He played in a game against Hearts that I went to. They had Fat Nade up front on his own, I think it was Robbie Keanes first home game. Hearts didn't have a shot, never mind one on target <yikes>

Josh Thompson looked world class against Christian Nade....

I will always listen to any Celtic fans opinion regardless if they go to the games or not , the only people I dislike Are huns , good to the pars winning at h/t don't fancy that horrible journey to Ict again , easier game on the march to the treble if it is Dunfermline
