OT - Not606 android app can i set it to automatically take me to newcastle forum?

what the title says. just got my new phone and DL'd the app as it didn't graft on my old phone. I 'subscribed' to the forum whatever that means but i'd like it to just go straight to our forum like a shortcut type of thing?

is it possible? and if so how?

 

I go via internet & bookmark the Toon forum.

 

been having a play around and I cant find anything like favourites or bookmarks. You would think there would be something. I have doen the same as alfie and bookmarked it via the browser.

 

i used to do that on my old phone but that won't direct you to the forum via the app will it ? surely it'll just take you to the web page?

 

That's right will only go to web page. Don't particularly like the app though so I'm fine with that.

 

bit disappointing that. i guess i'll stick to the old fashioned way then

 

You only need to press 3 buttons to get from main menu to Toon forum though on the app.

 

You're not alone mate, i was gonna ask the same thing!! even tho its only 3 clicks, it ****ing annoys me everytime haha

 

Has anyone else's app started crashing a lot, either when opening a thread or just reading it? Mine has started recently, and I can't remember if there was an update the other week which could have started it. I've tried clearing the cache etc but it's made the app useless

 

Yeah .. this has been reported many times recently across a few of the boards, it's to do with the updates Mick applied a few weeks ago, has affected a few other things as well. I think he's said it will be looked at in the coming couple of weeks to fix ..

 

Ta, fair enough I'll stick with the Web version until an update is released... To be honest I mostly am on here at work anyway!
