    If it was that Sunderland fan that was doing the rounds on retweets I'm glad they've gotten him.
    There's been a load of incidents like this recently so for anyone to be as stupid & ignorant now is even worse than the first offenders.

    There are a minority of idiots wherever you go in the world. Sod him. He will get charged and be done with it. I do find it interesting though that more and more publicised racial slurs are coming out ever since the Suarez/Evra incident.

    I'd like to know what comments he actually made before condeming him. People can be touchy and misinterperet.

    Say he stated a political opinion rather than just pouring racism. Even if I don't agree with the opinion this is still a democracy and any attempt at prosecution for that would seriously undermine the core values of our diplomatic system.

    Sure we'll see in the fullness of time. Suspect he probably did just start putting 'full of black blah blah blah' but I think it's all too easy for people to get carried away with the recent anti-racism drive.

    Yeah media bandwagons are funny things. Reminds me of when Boris Johnson said he was cracking down on knife crime; there was report after report on every knife related incident and it only stopped when he personally saved somebody from being mugged <laugh>.

    I'm getting concerned about this anti-racism drive as it may kick off the enviro-mentalists due to the increased CO2 emissions (unless they are driving a GWhizz then everything will be fine but the anti-racism drive may suffer as the GWhizz doesn&#8217;t travel very far; nor hold many people. Should have taken a train as it&#8217;s more environmentally friendly and keeps extra cars off the road but I guess the rail fare increase put them off. I don&#8217;t know if National Express have CO2 reduced coaches. Maybe that could have been an option. They are quite cheap if you book in advance. I blame Labour.).

    I know what you mean, I imagine racism hasn't got worse since the whole Suarez thing but it is being heard, recognised and condemned more since. Which is probably the only good thing to come out of this if it means we are now taking more action against it. You have to be an idiot to get caught doing this sort of thing now after seeing what it does to the reputation of the respective Club and its fans. Unfortunately, as John Barnes said...You can only go as far as keeping these racists quiet, they will still be racist in their head.
