Totally agree Mr White, I don't know why anyone on this board is concerned about what go's on up the road, we all know that no matter what they do, they will self-destroy and it will turn into worms for them once again, they've been doing it for years, why should it change now, just sit back and wait for it to happen.
The best thing about it is that they know as well..

If i said I was not a bit gutted, I would be lying, but we do have 5-6 strikers that can get in the first team (1 in Al Ain), its just a shame they are either not prolific, or teenagers who just dont seem to be ready for the rigours of the PL or coming back from long term injury.

Prolific strikers are not easy to find, and it looks like the toon have 2 now, when both are playing, their strike force will be frighting, their midfield is good, CD is good, so they have a pretty good 1st team, squad depth is the worry for them.

Suppose we will just have to trust in MON (not a lot else we can do tbh) but it would have been nice if he was signing for us instead, i have to admit.

Well it seems I'm on my own then, very strange.

I have read comment after comment about how we need a striker and how excited everyone was about this guy signing. I dont know him so relied on everyone who said it would ne a great signing for us.

He now looks like going to Newcastle and we have MON in charge and suddenly, who cares, he was OK but. Sorry boys but the truth is I am pissed off and cant hide the fact.

I would have liked the lad to sign as his stats speak for themselves but I trust No. 31 to do the right thing.

Frankly not arsed. He could be mint or he could be a pony. I would personally like to see Wickham given a run when he is injury free because the lad has shown flashes of quality.

The lad was always gonna join the mags when the bid came in, much like when Gyan joined us after mensah's year.

This season is shaping up nicely and our squad needs no major surgery which after the month of November is a great achievement.

Seriously? you got exited about a rumour and now pissed because a rumour didnt come true?

I dont know who else was getting exited about him, but it is a bit ott for a player no one knows anything about apart from some stats from germany and a couple of youtube videos. NOw if NUFC had beat us to signing someone well known (which wasnt just tabloid rumours), that would be different.

Who gives a **** who the mags sign, they don't have MON which is by far and away the best signing either club has had in many a year. Have not been keeping up with this today and have only just seen the crack but I'm not upset they have signed somebody I know nothing about and have never seen play one minute of football. There are 18 other Prem clubs to worry about then just these chebs.

I'm just happy to see both clubs putting some pride back into the North East. The players (and I mean much better players) will follow for both clubs as we will start to attack the Premier League establishment!

you obviously have'nt read it thoroughly, the majority of mackems are saying they're not arsed about Cisse. I'll go further than that, I hope we don't sign anyone (unless our injury situation is worse than it looks), we've got more than enough to stay up.
I sincerely hope that this is one revolution of the transfer merry go round that we sit out, so that MON can make a thorough assessment of the squad and then do whatever he thinks necessary over the summer.

I dont think im either bitter or not bothered, i think Cissie is a good player and would be perfect for what we are missing up front at the moment, good signing for the mags this!

On sky at the recent Man City game Neil Quinn was talking about transfers and he said something along the lines of bad transfers being made in the January window - so it wouldn't suprise me if we didn't sign anyone (could be a bluff of course)
