    We have to wrap the cisse signing up today apparently due to ACON so surely on this basis tiote and Ba can't complete a transfer?

    logically if its a 1 in 1 out.. it would be Ba out.. but ACoN is one stumbling block.. added to the fact we have just signed his international teammate and Ba has probably had a big influence on this deal i cant see him now wanting to leave but more likely he will sign a new deal

    Exactly what MiFune said.

    Gets on my tits when people say Ashley will sell players. He's sold: Carroll for 35 mill, Nolan for 4 mill, Barton for a free but only because Barton couldn't keep opinions to himself, and Jose wanted to leave so he can play in the champions league.

    well tbh i dont buy into this 'we sell all our players' idea everyone we sold either wanted to go, demanded too much or was not worth keeping ...players essential to our team such as colo and jonas have not been sold even though offers came in the summer!

    With other strikers I would have thought that maybe Demba may have been on his way, but considering he's his mate and International strike partner, I'm strangely more confident of him staying.

    Tiote will be off to Chelsea for £25M, which leaves us £7.5M (plud add-ons) for Papiss Demba Cisse, £7.5M for Ally Cissoko and £2M for Liam Ridgewell, plus a profit of £8M - with the added bonus of Smith coming off the payroll soon, which should free up enough money to pay all 3 new players wages.

    Good business???
