    I'm gonna cling to the hope that 'flying into Tyneside' means Sky have heard he's booked on a flight to Newcastle (as he would be...), and speculated.

    Remember, Sky said we'd sign N'Zogbia 'within hours'.

    Sky are very rarely the ones to break the news, in reality.

    Like I say, clinging on, as he's perfect for us.

    If he signs for NUFC I will be sick as a dog...felt like he was ours, and to to go the rivals will be too hard to take. Teamed up with Ba, being honest, they would have a very enviable strike force. Let's hope Sky have it wrong!!! :(

    That was one of my initial thoughts... Going off journalists on twitter though, it seems he's doing deals with Newcastle. I refuse to believe anything until he's holding up a Toon shirt with his name on the back though.

    Has he possibly said that he was 'flattered' to be linked to Sunderland just so that he could get Newcastle to pull their finger out?????? Possibly. Wouldnt be suprised if MON says that we were not even interested in him at the moment!!!! Whether I would believe him or not????? Im not sure!

    I've heard all this **** before Syd. I'll believe it when he is holding up a Newcastle shirt. Anyway how can the ****er be in Newcastle when he is away at the ACON? And when have Sky ever been accurate with a story?

    Don't get me wrong I'd love him to sign for us but I'm not taking Sky Sports, David Craig or Twitters word for it. Jesus how many guys did you supposedly have at Seaham Hall in the summer?

    It wouldn't surprise me if he signed for Sunderland afterall. I'd be disappointed as it seems everyone rates him, but really I'd be struggling to be overly disappointed about someone I've never seen play. Of course if he did sign for you and bagged a hatful then I'd be ****ing foaming!!!!!!!!

    I know very little about him too, but he seems to have a decent reputation. Quite a few of the lads who follow German football more closely than me really rate him. His team are rock bottom of the league, but he's scored 9 in 15 in a pretty decent league. Might have to Youtube scout him!
