Why did they build a 25000 seater stadium if they only have a fan base of 2000. They basically commited suicide

But i feel sorry for their fans

Thats not nice at all. I suppose they took a gamble with the stadium a bit like Hull did when they were (both i think) in the old Division 3. Hull expanded and had a plan of the PL with 5 years - they managed it in less in the end. Hull, however, always attracted larger crowds even in Div 3 - so it really was a gamble!

Hopefully this is a cry for a help and an interersted party will make a concrete offer!

It is a bit strange, none the less it'd be a massive shame for a club like Darlington to go under.

Darlington have til mid day today to sort something or else it may go

Shame, but maybe this could be the thing that makes the clubs get the message

They built a 25,000 stadium because the robbing chairman at the time owned the building company that built the stadium and he could take all the clubs cash to pay for said stadium before running off and dumping them ...

Perhaps we could help them out and make a generous offer for whoever is their star midfield player. Couldn't make us any worse at the moment.

What would he need a stadium for if he doesn't have a club to play in it?

The thing is if every club works with in it means. Both player transfer values and wage demands will decrease aswell on the summer Sven basically ruined the transfer market in this league with some of the offers we made.

Maybe a club going will be a good thing for the game. But still i dont want to see anyone go bust

Kettering dropped themselves in it tbh, why move to the Diamonds ground when that staduim bankrupted Diamonds, it was only going to do the same to them, they wern't even filling Rockingham road, and even less were going to travel to Irthlingborough to support them.

The lease on Rockingham Road was nearly up and the landlord would not renew the lease. So it was either move or die. They moved but looks like it's going
    to kill them anyway.
