    Yeah, if Spurs or PSG equal our bid I agree - but if we offer more, and the bankers are knocking on the door...

    still think it would be like putting a gun to his own head(Kean)
    If his king pin player helps a rival team by joining them it would be mad, just cant see it myself, how-ever much was offered !
    Changing the subject some what, all this speculation over Barton not figuring in Hughes plans, can you see any legs in this rumour ? I would have thought he would be needed to help fight the cause?

    How many managers actually have a 100% say in the sale of players? Sir Arselick is probably the only one. Even Wenger has to bow to the money men sometimes.

    The rumour is they thought the PL was a franchise system with no relegation, now they are ****ting bricks. The transfer request should have knocked off some value too.

    Why would he go to Citeh? He would play even less games than at Spurs.

Samba did not get a huge pay rise when he signed an extension to his contract last February so he obviously isn't motivated by money. He wanted to leave last year but was talked into staying with promises of huge investment in the team. This didn't happen. He feels he's been lied to and doesn't want to play under the current regime so why not let him go. After all, how many times have we heard people say there's no point keeping a player if they're not going to be happy? Should we really expect him to stick with Rovers just because we chose to support the team however many years ago? Granted, he hasn't gone about it very professionally but it's not Samba we should be angry at, it's the morons who have driven him to act in the way he has."
