Couple of "shocking" stats for you: Wigan not won at home in eight games, last (and only) win against you know who, QPR! Edin Dzeko not scored in 11 eleven games, last goal, again against you know who, QPR! We need to stop being part of these sorry type of statistics. On a positive note though, City seem to win this game.
When Djeko first got sold for 25K his then club couldn't believe their luck. A Bosnian Mark Hateley...
Yes, thanks to Joe Hart's legs (Cernyish save) - would really like to see Man City put the game away. Would be just our luck for Wigan to nick a point at the death.
It looks like the stadium is half empty. Isn't City a big game for them? Wigan have looked quite good from the bits I seen, but they lost thank Christ....
Apparently their first away win since us as well. As you say let's break this bloody jinx of being the reference point for these stats!
Always going to be tough this one. But no excuses this time, only three points will do. The player i fear the most is Ben Watson, he almost changed the game when he came on. Afraid a former R can come back to haunt us...
Well wigan looked decent but did only have ONE decent scoring opportunity which Hart prevent with a foot. Of course its not gonna be a easy afternoon but hey we gonna win that one. Wigan keeper was their best player and that defender should have been sent off for playing volley ball!
Yeah! How come Martin Atkinson didn't send him off?! Must apply the same rules as a foul by the last man, surely?
The stadium needs to rock for the full ninety on Saturday. Need to think of Wigan as Chelsea and not give them a moments peace and quiet.
