My first post please be gentle.
I also saw someone with Adam Pearson at the KC on Saturday, it definitely wasn't King or Hammil. In fact he did not look like a footballer (Whatever they look like).he was young wearing an overcoat and carrying a green hardback book with gold leaves, make of it what you will.

I think the Wolvers are hanging out to see if they get a better bid in, so this one will go on until the end of the window I would guess.

Did I hear right on radio that they reckon we will not do anymore incoming business? Hope not as I reckon Hammill could make the difference between making the playoffs and not.

Well we are more than happy with he current squad BUT that doesn't mean if the right player becomes available then we won't try and sign him.

Hammill bid is still with Wolves, it isn't dead, but equally it isn't moving forward currently.

We are looking and watching a few players, but don't expect anything at the moment.

I'd hazard a guess at it being because they haven't signed a replacement, and they've only just brought Kightly back from his loan so they want to see if he's up to it after his injury before they let Hamill go. They'd look pretty stupid letting Hamill who's been a regular on the bench join us at the price mentioned (less than £1M), and then finding that Kightly wasn't up to the pace/rigours of the PL any more so they had to go out and sign someone else.

Plus if they hold on they know we're not going to find better at the price we've offered so we won't go elsewhere until they reject it. If they take their time it might start a bidding war, since Leicester are looking for wingers I'd be holding out for them to come my way if I was involved at Wolves. Even if it doesn't they might be able to squeeze us for a bit more cash nearer the deadline.

I think this one will run to the end of the window, and Wolvers will sell to the highest bidder.

for the first time in yonks I'm very comfortable during the transfer window.. we don't really need much else.. Hammill would be an extra but unlikely..

Mad Mick is trying to get in Nicky Maynard and have been sniffing around his Brizzle teammate Albert Adomah so until Wolvers get there business sorted then City will have to wait. We can take Hammill from the 8th Feb on an emergency loan basis and then sign him up in the summer if it came to it. Dont panic, remain calm all is well.
