Coventry are in desperate financial trouble. My Coventry-supporting colleague is, unfortunately, just waiting for the day that they go into administration.

We offered not far off 5 million for Jay Rod in the summer. The whole transfer system is totally f*cked! An average/championship striker costs 5 million but you can buy an England international defender for 7 million. Madness!!!!

Strikers always cost more, and the fact Cahill would of gone on a free at the end of the season

His release clause is £84 million (I believe). I hugely doubt that Chelsea were ever actually going to bid that amount. I'm sure anything above £30 million would make Porto stand up.

Sibley says check the OS in next 10 minutes, first long night in the office.... I bet it is just Lee's contract signing and photos.

I have heard the same from Coventry fans. Their season looks exactly like our 2008-09 season - small squad, inexperienced manager, massive money problems. Relegation/administration is written all over it.

Both leaked from the other side, naturally; much to Cortese's chagrin, he cannot dictate how every team does its business!

I used to watch Grays Athletic a few years ago, part of the midfield was Michael Kightly and Hooper, up front was Freddie Eastwood.

Eastwood and Hooper were sh1te! <laugh>

To be fair Tottenham are particularly leaky. Twitchy can't resist a gossip and I'm sure his staff will follow the example.
