Nick Clegg plans more employee ownership

    We have heard politicians talking about cutting red tape and reforming the tax system before and nothing has happened on it.

    I am unsure about companies offering shares to their employees because how many ordinary workers would have enough knowledge of these matters to take it up. It MIGHT improve productivity and absenteeism but let's not forget that shares can go up or down and what happens if the company goes bust? A lot of ordinary people could end up well out of pocket.
