Well.. Carroll and Jose to... oops Liverpool, not a CL side!

    Barton to.. QPR <laugh>

And Nolan to.. who was it again.. oh yeah, West Ham, that Championship side <laugh>

And he has the audacity to say WE'RE not a big club when we're the ones who fleeced 3-4 mil out of them for an aging, fat chicken man <laugh>

some people are thick as pig **** and pop a view from a previous moment in time and apply it to something else..

sure people had there concerns about demba.. they had every right too, we just lost what we though was our next geordie no9 legend.. we had 35mill to replace him with but even that seemed like a consolation because thats how highly he was thought off around these parts... now take the facts at the time we were only signing Ba (when we was needing a striker before carroll left), we was getting him on a free transfer with huge worries about a well publicized knee problem. and honestly do you really blame people "AT THAT TIME" for being rather disappointed!

in all walks of life a bit of a successful run bring bitter nobheads out the woodwork and all they can talk about is the past and talk like its the present.

example.... liverpool fans and the we won loads of trophys ages ago that means we are the best in the world wah wah wah... its our season its our season.... you know what... **** off.

Sunderland fans... wahhh wahhh you got relegated the other season it means you are ****, wahhh why are you above us you are **** cos u got relegated back in the past. its not fair you are all ****.. wahhhh

Successful fishing trip from Miggins, I salute your wumming, although you don't have to be good to get bites from some of the folks on our board.

Your 'Leeds' point has nothing to do with Ashley renaming a stadium that is one of the recognisable cornerstones of English football. If you can't see why we're pissed off at that then quite frankly you're a mug or haven't educated yourself on the matter. He did it under false pretences, claiming that they were looking for a buyer for the naming rights when clearly he had no intention of selling them - just like everything else he does to piss everyone off it all blows over eventually when the next media flavour of the month comes around. The fans' hands are tied, they don't want to boycott matches because they want to support the team and boycotting Sports Direct isn't exactly going to help where Ashley's tightness is concerned, he and Dekka know this and exploit it to do whatever they want. If he ends up selling them for a large fee then I'll take it back, but I really don't think I'll have to.

The fact is that none of this supposed money coming in is there as far as I'm concerned until we sell the rights for a solid figure which let's face it isn't going to happen. In fact all I see is money gone out, he actually took it out of the club's accounts to plaster all those ****ty adverts all over the stadium. Sadly it'll not be a big thing as you say with the financial fair play rules coming in, soul in English football is a thing of the past anyway.

There were big legitimate doubts about Ba when we signed him. His attitude at Hoffenheim going on strike to demand a move, his well documented degenerative knee problem. We never doubted his quality, but nobody could have foreseen quite what a hit he'd be - he has been nothing short of world class. This attitude of his hasn't surfaced and he seems very happy here.

Your 'shop window' comment has little foundation at the moment, but even though you're probably just wumming you could very well end up right about that though, we'll just have to wait and see. It all depends on the mindset of Ashley, I wasn't one of the ones going mental at the sale of Carroll, he'd have been mad not to sell for that fee (although I was and still am a little miffed at his unwillingness to invest any of it), if does a Levy and sticks to his guns over Tiote, Cabaye, Krul etc like he did with Modric, a little bit of investment in certain areas and it wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility for us to be looking seriously at the Champions League places. Just hope he takes this route instead of wanting to make a quick buck but I'm not holding my breath.

Oops, guess you were too busy watching the bottom 5 to realise we were in the Premier last season, and doing a hell of a lot better than your team for that matter <laugh>
