Oddy, a case could easily be made for Al Ferof at the minute, a win on Saturday and he will tumble in the odds. However, questions are still to be asked of where he will go. I am fascinated to see what Segal will have to say. I bet he can't find value in the 2.55 today mind <laugh>

Go for one of the nags with first time "accessories" - maybe Stepharlie, back in trip as well.

Malcolm, did study it last night, as stated. I watched all the recent form back and could only find a couple who I thought could be of interest, one being Gabrial's Princess and other is the selection Very First Blade.

Good luck with that Ches, hope you have plenty of fun with her.
She'll like the better ground than that she encountered a fortnight ago, obviously age/mares allowance she gets a stack of weight and is very interesting off 10st - there are a few very nice ones in this race though.
Enjoy your trip, I love Plumpton, proper NH racing and a gorgeous day for it.

Just had a look at Ches' horse. She might win a race or two in the future.

cheers grizz, this is what It's all about. Monday at sunny plumpton rather than at my desk. Never been before, backing a winner would be nice but I fear that's just a fantasy.

I don't know my arse from my elbow, but Chilworth Lass is not the worst of them. Bumper form doesn't always stand up. At least she's been on the pace in a hurdle. The heavy ground last time might play into her hands today. I hope she blows in the market and you get big odd. If I still punted, I'd have a buck each way.

    1.10 Plumpton ZAFISO 5/1 (BOG)

A novices hurdle that seems to lack any quality in terms of those that have had previous hurdling experience and for this reason I am going to take a chance on the classy flat recruit Zafiso who makes his hurdling debut this afternoon. He was a group 1 winning 2yo and a dual group 3 winner as a 3yo. Whilst he hasn't shown a great deal since he has been kept in top company. If he takes to hurdling well there is a strong possibility that he can outclass his rivals here on Ground he should relish.

    2.40 Plumpton -E.W - THYMELESS 33/1 (BOG)

There is a big chance that this 7yo mare trained by Emma Lavelle is going to do a lot better once sent handicapping, however she has shaped with promise in two similar races so far and should get better with each race. There is plenty of room for improvement and I am going to take a chance on her today at around the 33/1 mark. If she disappoints today I will not be giving up on her though as I certainly think she is capable of winning races when she gets a handicap mark. A slight negative is that Lavelle has two in the race and this seems the second string, but I am still happy enough to have a small E.W bet on this one this afternoon.

    2.55 Wolverhampton IHAVETONUFF 11/1 (BOG) &L'ARLESIENE 20/1 (BOG)

Not the type of race I usually have a punt in but having looked at the replays I am hoping that these two can improve on the modest maiden form they have shown so far now sent handicapping. Ihavetonuff shaped with promise without beating many rivals in two of her three starts out in Ireland and whilst she was disappointing on her final outing when finishing last I feel she is capable of better and could be competitive from a mark of 49. I have the same reasons for backing the Sylvester Kirk trained L'Arlesiene, she shaped a lot better than the results suggest in three maidens and now drops back in distance which should suit. This one isn't badly bred at all and could be capable of running a decent race off a mark of 46 wearing blinkers for the first time.

Have also backed WASPY in the 5.25 9/1 (BOG)

gents, whats Rachel Kneller riding today at Wolves? She put a cryptic note on twitter which suggested she fancies one today to run really well. Seems she has been on it before too.

Nass I don't think she is on anything today as I looked on the William Hills site and wasn't showing anything on the jockey/trainer section?

Just the one for me today "Specialagent Alfie" in the 1.10 at Plumpton (5/1 Hills)

She said she was going to Wolves with something she had been working on. She is stable apprentice at Mr Brisbourne's and he has one runner today!!
