    And go their merry way will that create jobs in the North East?

    We would need,

    Border guards
    Passport control
    Imigration
    C&E
    Border posts


    This would lead to

    Work in construction, they would need offices and places to live
    Detention centres, for those who want to stay here, we wont let them
    Greggs shops, they would need feeding
    A new wall, further north.

    Would Newcastle be ours or theirs?


    Serious stuff this when you think about it, or have I got it wrong.

    Haha. Any of Hadrian's direct descendants got access to the old plans????? Might be worth a few bob to the planners. Unfortunately Syd I think we'd lose and Newcastle would still be ours

    I cant figure out why the english wont or cant have a referendum on whether WE want them in the UK or not?????

    I get the feeling that if they actually got their independence that Alex Salmond would s**t himself!!!!

    Me personally though......I like the Scots! Reading Frankie Boyles new book at the moment.........crying with laughter!!!!!

    Id be a little concerned about all that oil money in Aberdeen bypassing the UK coffers.... Happy for the Welsh to be annexed tho!

    If they do break away that will probably mean that the average life expectancy in the UK will increase!!!

    Will that mean I will get an extra 5 to 10 years?????? If so.....speaking personally.....that can only be a good thing!

    On a more serious note, it always makes me wonder how a small island like ours can't seem to be able class ourselves as a single nation when the likes of India and China can.

    To be fair I would rather be with the scots than anybody south of Teeside. I say move the boarder to include the northeast in Scotland!

    We would win the league every year, champions league football.
