If MoN wanted him back and persuaded the lad that good things are ahead at the SoL how would you react?

IMO we need the lad, on his day he is unplayable and one of those players who can produce something special out of absolutely nothing.

For me Poolie, he's worse than Bent.

I want the lad sold, ideally to a no mark club in Scandinavia.

I guess we will know more in the summer when he comes back.
MON will have a better idea what he wants and Gyan will have more time to feel the lack of playing in a good league and hopefully see the positive changes here on Wearside.

TBH I hate him for what he did & i would rather he be sold.

But if MoN kept him & got the best out of him there is **** all we can do but support him

I still dont think it was all Gyans fault, someone at SAFC had to say yes to the deal, by all accounts it wasnt Bruce, so someone in the upper echelons of power had to. I dont think we will ever hear the full story, well until Bruce writes his autobiography anyway.

I still have an open mind about all of it tbh, timing was ****e, yes he is getting paid bucket loads, but is that all his fault, I dont know.

This, I want to know the whole story before I condem him. If he does not come back were going to have to spend 20m plus on a worthy replacement.

Gyan has a foundation in ghana, and by joining the qatari club his foundation got a massive boost, therefore helping kids in africa and therefore not a greedy twat as everyone calls him

As well as this someone had to of agreed to the deal and therefore not all his fault

Plus many fans think its sickening because he doesnt care about our club as much as we do, now im all for this, BUT HE IS FROM GHANA, why the hell should he care as much as us about a club thats thousands of miles away from his actual home

i'll take him back, rather happy too considering bendtner :|

he doesnt suit mon's style of play. if u look at his villa days and how he has set up here mon likes to play with 1 up top and normally someone who is big and strong and can play in the rest of the team and at villa occasionally he played agbonglohor who had pace against slow defenders so i cant see gyan having a future at the club unless we stop playing long balls to the striker as bruce tried that and gyan clearly didnt like it !!

I think the above is a good point, I worked out in Africa last year and the money Gyan would be investing in kids over there would make a real difference. If that is one of the reasons then we really can't be upset with him. Also the above poster is right his loyalty is going to be with Ghana not SAFC.

I would like to know the real circumstances of his loan especially as he did come out and say it did not want to leave.

Gyan never was a prolific scorer and, that is what we need now not in the Summer when he decides he wants to come back. Get him sold and use the cash to go for a striker who will not run when it gets a bit hairy, no matter what spin is put on it if or when he comes back he will not gain the respect a lot of us fans had for him before this.

Should never be allowed to step foot inside sol again, do not believe any of this nonsence that he moved for his foundation his move was all about greed. But then again he did say at the time he did it for "the challenge"

When he pulls on a Ghana shirt he is as good a striker as anybody and is genuinely world class - we've not had too many of those on our books.

IF he could replicate that in a red and white shirt I would have him back - but only for one season so that we could sell him on for £30m as I don't think he is the type of player you can keep switched on for any length of time
