We are in a weird situation where our team is getting consistantly better and we have young top quality players.

Potential to be or already world class

    Colocinni
    Krul
    Tiote
    Caybe
    Ba
    Ben Arfa

I honestly think Colo is world class already, just my view.

Basically for 5 million we have one of the most dexterous and talented players in the whole prem. The goal v blackburn was INSANE, not many could do that even again blackburn.

Also its class being a Newcastle fan right now, the last 2.5 years really. I love NUFC whatever happens, but its a team to be proud of now, not just a club you are loyal to. I would support them whatever, but its that extra enjoyment of them being good to watch and talk about, that positive vibe, im sure many of you can relate.

As a supporter for over 20 years, I can tell you these are happy days. There's even a book out called " Newcastle United: 50 years of pain". I kid you not.

Coloccini - wouldn't say he was world class, but the closest level to it. He would be in the international team if he was world class.

Krul - Definetly potential there to be. I think he could be best in the world one day.

Tiote - same as Colo really, next level down from world class.

    Cabaye - Same as Tiote/Coloccini

    Ba - Same...

Hatem - Same, although I think he could be world class if he is consistent

Also Santon, Vuckic have potential. Maybe even Streete/Campbell if you look through the youth system.

Not sure, but they don't pick him. If I was Argentina manager I'd put him in straight away, but if your not an international then you can't really be world class.

That's sort of invalid. Demichelis gets in ahead of him and he's not world class. Just because you don't get picked by your national team manager, it doesn't make you any worse as a player!

As a couple of people said Santon is a big miss off your list there Viceroy. He was renowned as maybe the best young fullback in world football but a couple of years ago. How quickly he has bedded in here shows he still has every bit of that talent despite injury problems and falling out of favour under Benitez.

I personally rate him highly, but dunno why he doesn't get in the national team. Agree on the Demichelis bit, he is ****e!

Colocinni - solid enough premiership defender, but world class, no.
Krul - give it a couple of seasons and see where he is at, has a chance.
Tiote - distribution not good enough to be considered world class.
Caybe - very neet and tidy but world class cm's run the show most weeks and i dont think he can do that.
Ba - scored goals for all his clubs so far. lets see what he can do over a full couple of seasons. seems the most likely from this list to me.
Ben Arfa - to hot and cold, plus needs to comeback from a very serious injury now.

We do not have any world class players , I do not believe those players will become world class as well

There is a difference between international class and world class !

World class you are talking about the likes of messi, ronaldo, iniesta , xavi

The only player we had in recent times which you could arguably say was world class was Shearer

Think you need to consider the difference between 'World Class' and 'International Class'.

Nice slap in the face from pardew, going for best and ameobi ahead of Ben Arfa because they have the ability to have a big impact on the game, ffs

I forgot to include Santon, i rate him

Also "world class" is subjective i diddnt mean the top eschelon of ronaldo, messi, iniesta, xavi i meant the tier just below, but theres no word for that...

I do love Pards but why is he being such a moron, Ben Arfa is our most gifted player and he would rather have Ameobi up front?

Theres just summit not quite right about that, we are at home aswell
