TWF, you are such a geek! You remind me of a lad I know who spends his life redesigning sonic the hedgehog levels and playing entire megadrive games in record times and posting videos on YouTube and facebook. 'Meh' is one of his classic phrases too.

Your constant Pearson bashing is tedious and is your only way to be acknowledged and your claim to popularity. You seriously are one sad bastard, go find a girl or something and just get a life mate...

He's one of these people with social difficulties I think, and can only express his frustration via the internet. Shame we all have to read it.

Another master stroke by NP and AP. We have a player not figuring in their plans so they loan him to a team who is good enough, with his help, to take points of our rivals. He is doing more to help us currently than he would have done by being at the club where it was clear that his chances were going to be limited.

A very good point. Ipswich have the following to play: Leeds, Burnley, Norwich, Swansea and Leicester, I hope Bullard does really well and helps our play-off push by taking points off our rivals.

It's very clear that Bullard didn't want to be here, his mate Brown had been sacked and JB really didn't look interested after that. With the savings on his wages we are already building a much better squad than PB built. I hear that Barmby hated Bullard for his attitude towards our club. I'm definitely with Barmby on this, he is the player who always shows he cares for our club.

Hopefully a prem club will take Jimmy off our hands this summer.

TWF, I think you've got it very wrong on this one.

To everyone getting wound up by TWF: use your ignore option on this site. Making personal comments about him weakens your arguments. If this were a pub TWF might end up sat in a corner on his own because people would just not talk to him after a while once they were fed up with his viewpoints. You can all do the same thing here.

you all most proberly know from 606,that i had no time for the childish little super star, from day one.
for those who are too blinkered to remember, their hero brown/duffy signeed this cripple, without any clauses in his contract or injury insurance, this put a crippling effect on the club, and led to the begining of the end of our stint in the prem.
we not only were left with the huge salary pay out per month, but the reason he was signed,to bolster out midfield, obviously did not happen, therefore left the hole that we were trying to fill,as time went on (and it was obvious by the way our bacon was saved by the likes of newcastle keeping us up in that first season) and we needed to bolster our side, but lacked the cash,we could not affored to bring anyone else in,the word had gone out among the league regarding browns antics, and no one wanted to come to us.
mr super star was living it up,instead of fighting his way back to fitness, and causing all kinds of problems within the squad, even b armby who's blood is black and amber fell out with him during a training session, for me that says it all.
i personnaly would have preferred to have constantrated on giovani, who at least showed some proffesionalism.
so before certain posters begin singing praises about their super star, switch on the old memory bank, enough said

I find it highly amusing that twf'y demands proof from others, regards statements that they make, or, refuses to accept "first-person" statements as just hear-say, but, makes an unfounded statement, and, expects us to accept it from him!!!
Twf'y where is your proof that, " in reality it's more likely to be £10k a week"?
Put up (your, check-able, facts), or shut up!

The £320k Ipswich are paying for Jimmy's services are a matter of public record, we would hardly have made up that figure and Ipswich couldn't deny it was correct, when pressed by their local press, so I don't think there's any doubt it's accurate.

As Jimmy agreed to write off his appearance fee of £6k a game, they're currently covering about half his wages and as he seems far keener on playing for them, than he was for playing for us, it has to have been a good move all round. It's a shame that we lost the services of a talented player, but the unfortunate fact is, that we lost them long before he went to Ipswich.

PS - Apologies for losing it a bit with TWF last night, but this character assassination thing is getting a bit tedious now. From now on, any comment that I believe has been posted with the sole intention of winding people up, causing the thread to degenerate into a debate about a poster, rather than the club, will be deleted.

How about everytime TWF posts something, anyone who disagrees just posts "Don't agree"? You'll soon have an overwhelming response without being accused of doing something because of a personal grudge. I don't think you do have a personal grudge, but after various heated posts on here from all sides TWF could try to suggest this point.

Now I don't consider the following to be true but........ what if a poster had decided that they didn't like you because you have acquired a good reputation through 606, and then decided to get under your skin to try to provoke responses that would enable them to blacken your good name? It's a bit like the kid at school who has a go at the well respected teacher thinking it will prove how "cool" they are.

You'll remember form the old 606 that you did have a fair few people who respected your opinions and sought your thoughts, also you had a fair share of people who deliberately sought you out to "have a pop" maybe due to jealousy (?) and also there were people who sought to ingratiate themselves with you because somehow they thought they would be more accepted if they sided with you.

The world of message boards is a funny old place.

OLM, can we have a button (beside the 2 reply's) that says "don't agree"? See what Mick can do, maybe? :emoticon-0112-wonde:emoticon-0103-cool:

The ignore function is only good up to a certain point because when somebody quotes a comment, you get to see what is initially written. The only person on here who seems to take wum/troll viewpoints is TWF. Maybe the best solution would be to have a vote on whether we want to see his comments on the board or not, as they seem to spoil a lot of threads. OLM can then pass this onto the admin who can remove the user. Yesterday was a great day for us and you come on the board and see all this negativity from one poster, just for attentions sake.

Hi Original - LeeTiger here - used to be called philtigerfeet lol Only joking about the Gaddaffi thing but everybody has an opinion - a few posters on 606 really get under my skin at times as they aim to shoot you down in flames as soon as your opinion is aired.

All im saying is i dont agree with TWF also but it was interesting all the same and certainly got you all rattled on here lol interesting.

Now your the moderator you have to show a fair and transparent view amongst the debaters - TWF wasnt insulting anyone (Until he himself was insulted numerous times) - just an aggrevating point of view as Pearson is excellent - just say your bit and move on lol
We are in a democracy arent we, not a dictatorship? You cant just block someone because they are annoying you or others : )

Looks like your doing a good job on here also! Not like you to lose your cool lol

Putting the TWF bashing to one side, i wish Jimmy the best of luck at Ipswich and hope he continues to do well for them. As much as i would love to see him back in city colours, we've moved on and he's not a part of our plans now. Not to mention he looks happy at Ipswich, and a happy player is obviously gonna play better for his team. Let's hope they think he's worth the investment come the summer.

    Just FYI.

If a reply is not shown because the poster is on your ignore list, you CAN still see the content of the post.

At the bottom right of the post is an option to VIEW POST which pops up in another window.

Saves you having to log out / in / out.
