Hi guys three of us coming down to the ammex on Saturday.
Looking forward to seeing your new ground.
I understand you put the away concourse in the colours of the team.
I think we will sell the majority if not all the tickets 2300 have been given to us.
I think it will be a good game played by football sides.
I reckon you will nudge it 2-1.
I read the atmosphere created by the stadium is awesome is this the case?

We change some of the lighting to the away teams colours. Don't expect too much rom that. It's not as grand as we were led to believe it would be. Same can be said for the TVs showing away legends footage. I believe it is a pretty ropey powerpoint on a projector.
Will be good if you sell out. Helps the atmosphere.
Hard one to call. We are so up and down at the moment. Played pretty well and got a good result against Saints, then can't beat Wrexham. Your results seem to have picked up a bit recently. Think it might be a draw.
On the whole the atmosphere is pretty good. The Burnley game recently was awesome but that was because we had 2 sent off and that brought the fans together a bit more. Will depend on how the game goes. With so many new fans who have been a bit misled by our decent start to the season there are some unrealistic expectations. Some seem to think we have a devine right to win every game despite having what is largely still a league 1 squad. It doesn't take much for people to get frustrated with our possession game when the ball isn't moving forwards.
Enjoy your visit. Enjoy the stadium. Enjoy Brighton.

Thanks for the info,It looks like we have sold pretty much all tickets as the club have said all ticket restriction applies today,we have sold in excess of 2100 of the 2300 you gave us.

Really am looking forward to this game. One of the games to see what with the new stadium.

What is the parking like around the ground, any ideas where best to park??

I had you down for a 2-1 win before the new signings arrived this week,I reckon we will sneak it 2-1 now.

Have a good game, may the best team win.:smiley-finger007:

As mentioned above the parking is not great at the stadium. Part of our planning application required us to discourage the use of cars in favour of public transport and as a result there is no parking apart from a small amount for the corporate and vip types or people who have purchased a parking season ticket. If you are driving, as suggested, you will need to use the park & ride. Havent used it myself but have heard its pretty good. Trains are fine if thats an option. A bit cramped at times but they run regularly and you wont have to wait too long. Its even better if you hang around and have a beer with the home fans on the concourses afterwards and let the crowds clear a bit.

Sold our full allocation as expected.

Couldn't afford to go, so I'll be on here, OTIB and ESPN simultaneously while listening to the radio.

Well, what's the verdict? Did you enjoy your first visit to our new stadium? Atmosphere was average. Am guessing you didn't rate the game. You didn't really turn up did you? A bit disappointed as was expecting a better game. Looking at your team before k.o. I thought you were going to cause us a few problems but that was as easier win as we have had this season. What happened?

Just back and had a bath, your right we were absolute rubbish.
Your stadium is excellent, best food I have tasted at any football ground,it used to be rotherhams, but yours take top spot.
Atmosphere very very good.ended up parking at racecourse with free bus to ground, organised very well.
Two very poor sides I thought, first half I thought you were there for the taking, then that fantastic goal at our end.

To sum up my first visit to the Amex, excellent ground, excellent food, rubbish result.
Well done Brighton,I hope we can see our new ground start going up this year.

Fair assessment. Glad you had a good time.

Think you have enough to pull clear of relegation but you do need to find some form. Maynard looked way off the pace and clearly has his mind elsewhere. Was relieved that Bolasie (sp?) didnt play the whole game as he caused quite a few problems for us when he came on and looked most likely to get in behind us.

Good luck with the rest of the season and your new stadium.
