Nugent never passes to Beckford, ive noticed this before. I think he is too concerned about losing his place as top-dog in the team. Wellens walks a lot, and doesnt get stuck in. I have been a big defender this season, but today he looked like Oakley did when his legs started to go. King cannot to anything but shoot, and even that wasnt good today. Never has a midfielder offered so little. Has anyone else noticed how slow peltier is?! Konchesky, Schmeichal, hold you heads high son. Mills is the worst distributor of all time, and yet the team know this and dont give him an option. Mills did not once look like the 'Leader' of the team. Very quiet and Kasper did all the motivating. Tunch is ok, but not the player he used to be. Gally is best off the bench, ineffective today. Only of use for free kicks (and i deliberately havent said set-pieces) We seem to be a 4-4-2 team. Target man and fast striker. I dont think nugent is as good as we think, he works but is not a team man i think. He is like waghorn, great worker but not great. I want to see beckford and howard as a partnership. as in best coming off the bench, my bad! I would also kill to bee Hobbs back in that defence. Heck i would even kill to see Fryatt in that team! (he is not a promotion striker, just better than that). we need to play with wingers, and a big man and fast striker. I dont rate nugent much any more, workaholic but works for himself, not the benefit. He definately seems to avoid playing in Beckford.
Danns in the middle probably, the only half performer there at the moment. I just think 4-4-2 with Howard and beckford could flourish. Maybe nugent as a stop-gap on the right?!
They was booing Gally. Our fans have been a total disgrace recently Beckfords work rate was alot better today, there is still a long way to go but he is showing signs on improvement

Even if the boos were for Beckford judging Gallys reaction he thought they were for him, yes he was poor today and is perhaps being found out a little now but booing him won't really do anything will it? I never understand booing however, people pay good money to watch footy every week so each to their own.
Regardless of anyone's opinion on booing, most of those players out there today can have no complaints about getting booed - I note Kasper was the only one with the bollocks to come over to L Block, the rest of the ****e soon ****ed off down the tunnel
Newcastle fan in peace here. What the hell is going on at your club?! I thought you were meant to be pushing for promotion, especially with Pearson back. Is it the fact that players who've come in have massive egos, or just that you don't have the correct players to play the right formation (complete lack of a RM from what i've seen)?
Weirdly it's the opposite of players coming in with big egos. Players like Gallagher, Wellens and King (the core of our side) have been non existent and i'm fed up with them. We don't have any midfield or wingers. No wonder we are where we are.
If booing Gallagher is going to get to him after one game after putting up with him for a year then he can go.

the formation and tactics that make pearson so good isnt auitable due to the players, its very hard. We cant bring in the players as they dont want to sell due to how we dealt it pre-pearson.
