He looks like a great prospect, quick, strong, tricky, could have had 2 goals in the first 10 minutes. Why weren't we interested in him? Particularly after he killed us with 2 goals for Macclesfield Town. A real handful.

He had two chances and missed them today. We can't have yet another striker who has two chances to score and doesn't take them. He has hardly set the world but 7 in 20 is a very good starting record in the Championship.

I'd say that's a brilliant record nearly 1 in 2. His missed chances versus us is more down to outstanding goal keeping and defending. I thought he was excellent superb ball control, seldom off side and played off the shoulder of the last defender, pace to burn, I thoink Peterborough are the best attacking team I've seen at the KC this season. Great to watch.

    So - 7 in 20? 13 misses? (Or is that now 15?).

He still sounds like a handful (cf our Carling Cup game with Macclesfield.......)

Saw him play and score twice against us when we were woeful against Macclesfield in the Carling Cup - not so impressed today I have to say.

He was a handful for the first half of the first half, but as soon as we actually started we controlled him and them fairly well. He has potential, but to me he is a huge risk and he is not going to be any better than what we have.

Appartently according to Senor Burns (him off Blunderside) he tipped Adam Pearson off, about Sinclair some time ago, but City chose not to do anything. Shame because he looks like a prospect.

I said after we played Macclesfield that we should snap him up before somebody else did...

FFS why are we slating a striker who if his nearly 1 in 2 ratio is true we should of been signing. According to the stats we had 19 attempts on goal and only one hit the back of the net. Now if you can't see that we are in serious need of a striker NOWNicky, you seriously need to get yourself down to Specsavers. Get it sorted lad

Agreed. Only has pace and used it when able to. Once city kept tight on him he was poor hence why he got subbed in the end. There is better.

He had very few tricks, and poor control at times. He is nothing better than what we have, if we are going to sign players i want us to sign those who will make a radical difference, if they don't its far more value for money signing a young loanee who we can just send back and replace if he has no impact.

His first touch control was great. The fact he caused our defence no end of problems, and our defence is a one of the best in the league, is perhaps a better barometer <ok>

If he was that good bigger clubs would be interested. There clearly are no bigger clubs interested, and yet again he would add nothing to us. He has pace i agree, thats one thing at times our front line is missing. But if you are advocating spending, what is likely to be at least a million pounds on this player, i disagree completely. He is a huge gamble, why pay a million quid for a gamble? We are not rich, we can't afford to gamble with money, we have to make sure the players we bring in are the right players as we can't keep affording to buy them. So loans clearly offer far more value for money. People need to realise this, i am not knocking yourself as football is about this. We all see different things in players, like i thought Evans had a poor first half others thought he was MOTM that what makes football great. But financial the deal makes no sense, our finances are still tight and we have heard it in the media, some of us have heard it privately that the club has clear busines objectives to become an actual business model and become financially viable. So splashing cash is not an option, only if it is 100% the right play will we splash it.

It took some brilliant saving tackles from Chester and saves from Mannone to stop him putting us 3-0 down in the first 10 minutes.

He's a good striker, but there's loads of players like him about (big, fast, strong, scary strikers) McLean is one of them and we play him on the wing. He had 20 minutes up front today and scared the **** out of them, we need to use him as the striker more often and stop bumming the ever untouchable Fryatt.
