Good win today that keeps us in there and most other results ok for us - BUT, next week could be critical and maybe define our season - we have Reading away and most other teams around us have reasonable home bankers other than Boro who away to Cov.

    Thoughts?

If we manage to get a point at Reading I will be happy, if we get all 3 I'll be buzzing.

I'm sure the Bolton fans will be very interested in how our Championship campaign is going. ;)

    WHY ???? strange choice. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Anyway, I think same team and 3 points. Reading were lucky to win at Watford tonight and dont look that good. They may also have lost Messrs. Kebe and Hunt by next week. Either way i expect Hul City to win there. City are back on track.

Where will Leicester be by next Monday night when they play ' Southampton live on sky ? :emoticon-0114-dull:

no such thing as a banker in this league, id snap your hand off for a draw at reading tho, im a a big believer in trying to win all games and not settling for points, and im sure we will try and win, but away from home to a rival not getting beat and losing ground is the most important thing

Like said if we get a draw it would be a really good result. We will play our usual style, and i think against Reading it will work well as they will concentrate on their game and not on us, so we might have more space than in others game and the pace of Stewart and Brady could be key in a game like this.

A win, yes. A good one NO . 19 attempts on goal and only one in the net can not be called a good win. IMO it is going to be goal difference that ****s up our promotion chances this year

Goal difference almost definitely won't **** up our promotion chances this year. But losing or drawing games that we dominate might. Since Barnsley in November when our 9-game unbeaten run ended, we've lost 7 games and in all 7 of them we have dominated the game completely. Every team has 'one of those days' in front of goal now and then but for us, 19 shots and 1 goal isn't unusual, we've been doing it all year, since Blackpool and Macclesfield in the first week of the season. How long will it go on for? Someone needs to start putting these chances away, it's so frustrating that we play football as well as anyone else but just miss out because of missing chances. We could be top of the league if we could finish chances.

Grinding out a 1-0 win in matches is ok if the opposition are ,on the day, superior but missing a whole host of good opportunities and half chances as often as we do is still very worrying.

I'm trying to figure out where the Bolton fans are - I work next to the Reebok stadium and have yet to meet any - in fact Tesco next door sells Liverpool t-shirts!

I had a quick look at the Bolton board, and I was going to edit my post to ask what fans as it is practically dead. Just a wild stab in the dark but maybe they're all in Wigan since they don't appear to have any fans :S
