The game has come too soon us....no chance with no new signings. Newcastle 3 (cabaye, sh ameobi, taylor) QPR 1 (HH)
Right i've just about got over Colin but i've had to change my avatar and signature.... they just don't consider the full implications for the fans when they make these decisions do they? I bet Tony F never even gave this a minutes thought. I say the team will be well ****ed from trying to impress Sparky at Niedzwiecki's first training session and we will get thumped 3-0 Leon Best x 2 and Shola Ameobi.
Toon 2 (R Taylor 45+1, Cabaye 90+3) QPR 5 (Macheda 1, 7, 21, Helguson 73, Ageymang 88) Toon to have 2 sent-off and QPR to have 1 sent-off.
Toon Army 2 (Best, Ameobi) - QPR 2 (hh,swp) Hard first game for Hughes with the midfield in pieces but can't find it in me to put down loss, hoping the New manager spirit will bring us a point.
If Agyemang scores a plague of locusts will descend and a great famine will sweep the northern plains... OK as long as it heads for Blackburn, Bolton and Wigan!...
Afternoon all. Right this is where the season takes off, 1st game of an 8 game unbeaten run where we take 18 from 24 points, 5 wins, 3 draws, first draw tomorrow 1-1 the curly haired centre half for them & HH for us. Off coarse it might all go pear shaped and we get a right tonking!!! Keep the faith, up the R's
The heart says Sparky will light the fire and a gritty performance will earn a draw... The head says we'll come up just short... Toon 1 R's 0 Ameobi
I know I am taking a HUGE risk by saying this given the last 3 years, but I am willing to predict that Mark Hughes will still be our manager on Monday morning!
Toon 3 Rangers 2 Shola Ameobi, Taylor, Ben Arfa. Macheda, Wright-Phillips. Afro Cup absentees won't disturb Newcastle's good form but the new era at QPR inspires determination and belief sufficient to give a good account of ourselves. Looking forward to another thumping great game against Toon!
