Yeah I've seen that, fourth official normally quite reliable but not sure what track record they have with city news.

Fuller would fit the bill in terms of offering something different to fryatt.

He's played six times in the last six weeks or so, so I image he would be reasonably fit.

Stoke City website says that he has played only 5 games(and all as a sub - 3lge/1fac/1euro) this season due to injury so that makes him a sick note i would suggest.? Furthermore, i still have not forgiven him for diving over Myhill back in 2008 and winning that penalty <grr> which cost us the win and for which we all knew wasn't a penalty.

BUT...IF Nick wants him and likes him then fair enough. Agree he would rip this league up assuming he stays fit.

Wages would probably be too high for us!

Might be a loan, with shared wages?

He must be on at least £20k and even if you said that we offered £7k it's unlikely that they'd accept it. Great player but a little too expensive for us in my opinion but I would love to be proved completely wrong!

Possibly so, Stoke are really tight with their outgoings, want as high a contribution as possible, if not all wages paid on loans.

Much as I'd love to see him come in, I can't see us being in for Fuller.

Would he fit into our system nicely though? I know he's a good player but always strikes me as the lazy type. With having a lone striker he needs to work hard.

I feel the same as you about it, would love to have him here but just can't see it happening.

So you have One Extra Euro game than the Stoke website then. 5 or 6 games this season ? Not good enough for the money he would cost. So it has to be a case of Next........

On that basis I'm sure you'd turn away Anelka and Alex if they were offered to us on a plate.

Stoke website must be wrong then by one game. But to only be involved in 6 games so far this season in my book makes him a sicknote. Think he had either hamstring or groin problems. Fuller may end up at somewhere like Blackburn or Wigan on loan.
