On loan it would be a great deal. He likes playing up on his own and with Sess and McClean as support I think he would do really well. He is exactly the type of player we need to sign. He would help Wickham along too. A good move if true.

it would give Mon options and if only a loan he would be able to evaluate the team and then buy as required in the summer

Cisse was desperate to stay, his form dipped because of the uncertainness of his future. I would have Cisse back. A definite character, who has pace for the break - a MoN attribute he looks for in strikers. Cisse just needs to learn the offside rule and he would be a hell of alot better than Bendy.

Cisse, definitely. He likes to run on to through balls, and shoot. This is what we need. Bendy likes to hang on the wing, trying fancy flicks and back heels. Whilst it has paid off once (Sess's goal where he rounded the keeper), he takes to long to shoot, and doesn't take his chances. And let's face it, Roy Keane wasn't exactly the easiest man to get along with was he...? Can't blame the players for there being discontent amongst the squad.

I'm totally with Rule here. If we're going to dwell on the past then Kilgallon is sh*t, McClean isn't worth a place, and we're not good enough to beat Wigan at home. That's nothing like what I see on the field these days. The past is dead and best forgotten.

If MON fancies Cisse (or Bent or even Nos) I'm for it. Clean slates across the board for me. This is Martin O'Neill's team, and nothing's the same.

Cisse was constantly on the bench in the last couple of months of the Keane era end that continued under Sbragia because Jones was spitting his dummy out as he wanted to be the main man

Id love to see Cisse back as this is the position we still lack the most in terms of players and experience.

Is this just a wish list or has there actually been some interest?

I have, as stated earlier, been a huge fan since we last had him and would love to think there was truth in this.
