So I have an exam the day after the Leicster city match, its for my A levels and so basically a poor performance may mean me not getting into uni. I have a season ticket so I hate not going to home matches as it feels like im throwing money away in a sense and obviously I love going to see saints. So would you go and risk it or play it safe?
Going to be very boring and motherish...Study if you need to because it affects the rest of your life. If you can combine both do..but depends how confident you feel.
Can't you just start revising earlier so that you're fully prepared before the game? Last-day revision tends to be fairly unproductive anyway. My last day routine is just to list a few details I need to remember and recite it over and over just before I go to sleep. Memorizing something shortly before sleep increases the chance of it being stored in your long-term memory. Science!
How about getting stuck in to your revision now instead of posting threads on here? THEN you can go to the match without feeling guilty!
Don't be daft fella stay in and revise that way you'll earn enough to buy future season tickets! If the money being wasted is an issue just give it to a mate for a fiver or something?
Is 1 game really worth your future?? Is it worth risking it to get a better job to enable you to watch the saints for the rest of your life?? If you look at it that way then the answers obvious............. To me anyway!!
Buddy you do what you feel is right for you.......if you don't get the grade you want for uni you will just take the exam again. If you have been doing your course work properly you should be near enough ready anyway. So you will just need to remind your self of key formulae or what ever. You are the only one that can tell whether you need that extra time!! Do what you feel is right for you!!
I completely misread that just then. Had to re-read it to work out why a poor performance against Leicester might cost you your university place.
I am spitting feathers too, had not realised that the Le'ster game was on a Monday evening (23/1), I am stuck with a late shift and will have to miss it, never done a 'sicky' in my life and not going to start now!
If you're not ready for the exam by the night before, then you'll never be. Go to the match, enjoy yourself and, if need be, re-read your revision notes when you get home.
You are not alone. That's how I read it at first, though I'm not sure that knowing you think like me is much of a consolation to you.
