Isn't Guly injured or is he back?, I thought his injury was quite serious?. Really hope we turn our ****e away form around. We looked much better away at Brighton until the sending off. I'd still prefer 4-4-2 giving us width then the 4-3-1-2 we sometimes play awwy from home. Going to be a hard game.
I know it was a long shot to get him involved this weekend but Adkins has confirmed that Lee won't be playing against Forest but will hopefully againts Leicester.
I asked on their board about places to stay and pubs to visit in the area for Saturday. That board is eerily quiet but one reply has just said I'm best not going in a particular pub if I'm not white. Sounds a friendly place....
Will be interesting to see exactly how is available to play. Could end up being a bit of a make-shift XI, with next to no options on the bench. Even without the injuries, I'd gladly take a point away at Forest. So with them, I'd be very happy with a draw. Sadly though, if we do only draw, I suspect that everyone (fans, press, opposition) will continue to focus on the fact that we've again dropped points - even though if wouldn't be a bad result.
I've missed out a few niggles in the team news section by the looks of it. Guly's injury wasn't too serious at Brighton I think/hope and De Ridder should return to the squad. According to the OS, Paul Anderson and ex-Saint Dexter Blackstock are likely to feature also, with new signing Marlon Harewood.
Adkins said Ward Prowse likely to feature. Apparently Connolly wasn't quite right for the Coventry game, we must have a pretty damn long list of injuries right now!
Interesting one that, as CM is one area where we are not overloaded with injuries (i think/hope). Perhaps Adkins see's him as a stand in for Chaplow as a midfielder that can actually find the back of the net. Take note Cork Hammond and Schneiderlin! (Although i suspect he will be on the bench). With Rickie out it is going to be difficult, so with seemingly all our other attacking options out too (including Mr. assist Richardson) it going to take a massive effort and a nice bit of luck for us to get the win IMO. Keep tight at the back and we stand a chance at nicking a 0-1. P.s. Its 3am...which means one thing, i have a deadline tomorrow/today. Back to work..
I am confident we'll get back to winning ways in the league in this game...this goes against my usual pessimism!
