    but last season stoke got in but only because they were in the fa cup final but Birmingham had to win the league cup to get in!!

    Yup, Leazes is absolutely correct. Our best hope for Europe is for City or Liverpool to win the Carling Cup, and for the FA Cup final to be contested by two top 5 (6 if the Carling Cup is a big team) teams. Or us of course...
