You're right, most of us have often pondered on that. Nicky lives only a stones throw from the Healey Pile, and must have thought the same some time ago whenever he drove past.

"You're always gonna have problems lifting a body in one piece. Apparently the best thing to do is cut up a corpse into six pieces and pile it all together".

"And when you got your six pieces, you gotta get rid of them, because it's no good leaving it in the deep freeze for your mum to discover, now is it? Then I hear the best thing to do is feed them to pigs. You got to starve the pigs for a few days, then the sight of a chopped-up body will look like curry to a pisshead. You gotta shave the heads of your victims, and pull the teeth out for the sake of the piggies' digestion. You could do this afterwards, of course, but you don't want to go sievin' through pig ****, now do you? They will go through bone like butter. You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm. They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. That means that a single pig can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute. Hence the expression, "as greedy as a pig".

It is clear they have done what they said they would do, and all of us true fans should be eternally grateful. As other have said, if not, we would have been in a right mess. Heart felt thanks to the Allam's, it is nice to hear these day someone who will put their money where their mouth is.

We should make this thread a sticky (after all the movie quotes have been deleted!) to remind all the brain dead idiots who come on here and knock the Allams, just how important and significant their investment into Hull City has been.

I am sick to the stomach of people moaning because we 'haven't seen the colour of their money yet - we need a £10M kitty to spend in January' etc etc.

Okay, so I made the quote up, but it is typical of the sort of attitude a small NOISY % of our fans have.

They need to wake up and not only smell the coffee, but shove the tin of coffee beans up their backsides.

As others have said...... where are all the Allam knockers? This thread is surprisingly missing their informed input for some reason.

When I was a kid Dominic White (Lord White's son) was a mate of mine. I've been in that "pile" a few times. The back garden is about 300 acres!!!!

'A right mess' is an understatement! More like no football club whatsoever and starting again from scratch in non-league as AFC Hull.

Bartlett and Duffen took us into the Premier League, but they also vitually took Hull City AFC out of existance!!

The club really could use some sort of asset like the KC Stadium on it's books. Under the Allams the club will never find itself in the kind of mess Duffen and Bartlett put it in. But the Allams will not own City forever. When they are gone, owning our own stadium, facilities, training complex and all that sort of thing will be important.

I caught the back end of this discussion on bbc humberside sportstalk yesterday and they mentioned something about a £6m transfer budget in hard cash having been pumped in also.

Whether this is for the period since they took over or has yet to be spent I have no idea, does anyone understand this any better than me?

losses of 20m including relegation, 41m cash injection and 6m forward for transfers?????

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00mlgk6 - around the 12 min mark.

Does this mean 6m yet to spend or spent already???

If someone more financially minded that I can shed light on this it would be appreciated.

Good to know the club is debt free with a 1 and 1/2 seasons of parachute money still to come and guarantees barmby will be backed.

If Pearson couldn't work within those constraints then he isn't the manager I thought he was.

They have a 3 hole golf course in that house in West Ella don't they. Someone I used to know lived next door and we listened to Belinda Carlisle play there for some kids wedding / birthday event

If the Healeys did then everyone would be after them. Anyway who is to say that they haven't done something but just kept it quiet ? Not saying they have like. The Healeys are a very secret sect.

    How to become a millionaire.

First become a billionaire, next, buy a football club.

There is no doubt that we would not even have a club to discuss had it not been for the Allams. How many have thought 'if I win the £100m on the Euro-Millions, I'm gonna buy Hull City". I have, but I doubt I would.

Philanthropy and altruism are dying arts.

    James Lodge can **** off.

Add - to be fair the Healey's do provide advertising revenue through their companies.

Apart from Pattyandchips who else was negative about the Allams on here?

I may have missed something but I can't recall anyone else knocking or doubting them.

Those who did look a bit daft now, well they always did to be fair.

That's correct I lived in Swanland at that time, and we could hear it from there.

Thinking how he can call us all sheep? :emoticon-0110-tongu As for the Allam's, thank god they've done what they have with the club. Makes you wonder just how things could have turned out without the Allam's actions. I'm sure I echo the thoughts of many other Tigers fans by saying i'll be forever grateful to them.

They paid her £70,000 for a two night stop and gig and flew her over in a private jet for his daughters 18th birthday party.

He delivered a bottle of Bolly to every house on West Ella Road as a makepeace for all the noise and fireworks (and it was really loud!! had my bedroom window open listening to it!!).

He bought the house next door to the Hall, knocked it down and built a brand new pile for his daughter as well, at the time, so she could live near him.

    The other half, Eh?
