    Saints fan in peace :)

On Sky Sports this morning they have said the FL will be reviewing Portsmouth's current financial status.

I first saw this on Twitter but doubt we will hear anything until tonight.

I don't think anything will happen given the fact that you're in talks with prospective new owners <ok>

Just wondered if anyone else had heard this today?

We get this news every month Rickie - it's probably a standard agenda item.

Probably goes something like this - "Portsmouth Football Club, any new issues there? No? Okay next item."

    Football League meet every month.

Last month, they confirmed that their main agenda for January's meeting would be PFC's financial situation...

In all honesty; in a non-biased way, I think they would be completely and utterly wrong to deduct us points.

Well if the Football League use their usual level of common sense we'll probably get a 30 point deduction :emoticon-0183-swear

I said just over a month ago when Antonov was arrested that this was beyond a joke now.

The fact that the FL approved it in the first place, would just make it more baffling if they deducted you points!

I'tll be a bit like that. But there'll be weary sighs, and groans of "What, that lot? Still f***ed I spose? Yep. Okay, next item."

According to FootballEconomy.com Chanrai is still bailing out the club. Only to protect his own interests (but who can blame him for that?)

I bet he rues the day he used us as a tool to get back at Gaydamak.
