Our owners don't seem happy about the approaches for Cameron Stewart. http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/story-14398296-detail/story.html
Excellent to see those comments - the Allams are obviously intent on building a strong team, NP will have to look elsewhere for his lcfc makeover....
unless perhaps they throw Nugent into equation plus cash and support on his wages. All of a sudden I am mildly interested??????? Maybe a reciprocal derisory offer for Nugent would be an adequate response and get the message across? Or perhaps also a request to Leicester for advanced permission to talk to Nigel Pearson regarding vacancy for a Development Manager on a drastically reduced package after he is replaced later this season?
Nice to hear owner come out with such comments, this will also give the team confidence that they are a progressive club.
This still won't shut the Leicester knob'eads up. They'll keep on moaning that we don't accept their offers and that AP is such a mean bully.
From FoxesTalk today: Posted Today, 09:24 AM I see the Dull owner is at it again, long article in their local rag again spouting off about it. I love how they all constantly go on about us trying to unsettle the lad, well if they didn't keep going to the papers every 5 minutes about it nobody would have a bloody clue what was going on!! Posted Today, 09:43 AM I'd put in a bid lower than the other two just to **** them off even more!! Posted Today, 10:20 AM JamesNursey James Nursey Hear #Southend winger Ryan Hall wanted by #Hull, #Peterborough &#Millwall. Hull see him as replacement for Cameron Stewart, a #LCFC target Posted Today, 10:20 AM We should put a £7m bid in have it accepted but then offer him £1,000 a week so the deal collapses Posted Today, 10:23 AM Maybe they are trying to appease their fans in the event they sell him, they don't bore the brunt of anger from the fans.
Great to hear from our owners and with news now that Nick Barmby as proper manager Its heads down for the PL promotion push. Any further news on the investigation into the Thai owners and backers pulling out thus reducing there spending power ? Oh how i would just love this to be true.
I think the next step will be a complaint to the FA, then N. Pearson will be exposed as the petty tosser he is.
It would be nice to have him back, but guess that may have to wait until NP gets the sack. If that happens then IMO its time for him to move away from NP clutches.
The football world knows that already. The fact that Billy Sharp has not rushed to sign for NP and Lesta says it all for me.
You cant complain to the FA that someone keeps making bids for your player. If you dont like the offer you reject it and move on. Its called football. Its your club in the media talking about it not us.
If someone makes a piss poor bid, we're equally at liberty to say is was a piss poor bid and create an environment that makes it very difficult for any further bid. Particularly if we think it wasn't a serious bid and was really nothing more than Pearson being a twat.
The Leicester fan is right we can't anything about it except tell them it doesn't meet with our valuation of Stewart and for them to piss off. The FA would just throw it out and we'd look pathetic. If he does go we better get someone in or Barmby and the club will have the fans on their backs. I ****in hate the transfer window.
