    always feel nervous when he's in our team willo and colo should not be split up for this lad and he should not have been on from the start imo i'd have went with guthrie RM and simpson RB but hindsight is a wonderful thing

    I thought Pardew went with the wrong starting line up today. Taylor did not look comfortable at full back (and when he had someone running at him felt inclined to go infield rather than go out and make a challenge), and Simpson did not look right either in midfield. As a result the team had the wrong balance, Everton seemed to capitalise on this and I thought we were lucky to get the goal during the first half. Play one person out of position rather than two - Simpson should have started in his normal role and Guthrie should have started out right.
