Parker just does the same job Huddlestone would do if he was fit but without the passing ability. All Huddlestone needs to do is **** off a couple of journos and then everyone will be rimming him as well.

?? Huddlestone is not in Parker's class. Parker makes more important blocks, tackles than any player in the league for me. He does that whole midfields donkey work. Having an absolute belter of a year this year, probably his best yet. I liked him when he was here though and couldn't understand why folk got on his back. There was this theory that all he did was spin round in circles. It was a load of ****e. The boke just understands the value of retaining possession. The team with the most possession wins most modern football matches.

The journos undoubtedly give the London lads preferential treatment but Parker doesn't need any favours, he's pulling up trees without it and deserves all the credit he gets. Every game I've watched them he has been one of the best players on the pitch. Huddlestone is a pussy. for a guy his size, he never gets stuck in. I liken him to Carrick, all beauty, no substance.

Agree to disagree, I really don't rate Parker. I think he's a drama queen who throws himself around like a headless chicken. I'd rather have Barry in the England team and thats saying something.

That is just crazy talk. Barry is complete carthorse. As you say agree to disagree, he's always divided opinions up here.

Parker is class but still overrated by the press. He's like Smith but with actual timing on his tackles.

How anyone could vote anything other than Ba FREE is ridiculous. Signing of the century in fact.

Ba, though I have to say I've been impressed with Vorm had a few blinders in goal for Swansea which has earned them points.

Ba in for free and Carroll out for £35m is best piece of business ever...

Would also like to give Yakubu for £1m a mention - not a great player, but knows where the net is

People say Aguero but he was nearly £40m!

    My top 5 would be:

    1. Ba - by a long stretch may I add
    2. Vorm
    3. Scott Parker
    4. Cabaye
    5. Yakubu

Mata and Enrique come close <ok>.

All good ones them and I think in time Mata will look an even better signing if Silvas progress at Citeh is anything to go by. As I say I'd stick with Parker just because of the impact he has had all round. You could say Friedel and Adebayor have also played a big part but Parker is the one who has freed them to be what they are now. Which is looking like title contenders at present. I think people underestimate the leap Spurs have made.

Have to say Ba has been unbelieveable for us, so many strings to his bow.
