    About to purchase a couple of tickets for the QPR game and I'm torn between pitch-side of the Milburn Stand or the East Stand. Where from your experience do you feel is the best spot of the two? For noise generated etc.
    Also, where do those of you who don't have the same ST spot every season aim to sit when you go to games?

    <cheers>

    We should do. Even though they have a new manager, their teams is still pretty ****. Although, they might have Alex in for the game apparently.

    So the consensus is Milburn stand over East stand for atmosphere? I may try and book corner seats for a slightly better view.

    If you don't get to many games I would splash out and go for the Milburn stand pitchside as close to half way as possible. I have sat in most locations in the stadium but nothing beats the Milburn in a good seat!!

    Hate to break the chain but I prefer parts of the east stand to the milburn stand atmosphere wise.

    If it's atmosphere and chanting you're looking for, you should get some seats in the east stand near the Strawberry corner. Either that or on the east side of the Gallowgate.

    If you don't mind being in a corner you should obviously go for the strawberry corner as it's the loudest part of the ground, might not be many tickets there though.

    'The Strawberry corner' is that the Sir John Hall East corner or the South East corner?

    EDIT: Being dumb, i know which you mean <ok>

    I personally don't like sitting at side stands. I am big fan of going behind the goals. I prefer the Gallowgate End personally.

    They both have their qualities, I've got ST in back row of East Stand meaning I can stand so I'm never moving but its a git getting in and out so I'd suggest Milburn!
