To be honest I can't think of rule for closing threads that will respect everyone's right to make their point. I just think threads die off on their own anyway and that seems the fairest way.
Anyway back to the subject. IMO there's something wrong with the whole football contracts set-up when players and managers (like Pearson) can casually decide if they want to leave their clubs in the brown stuff by demanding a move, while clubs can't terminate the contracts of players who are basically blood-suckers like Bullard. I understand that there is a structure in place for dismissal and technically we might have over-stepped the mark, but what about the damage and cost to our club when Pearson left us in the lurch. It seems the laws are unbalanced in favour of the players and managers to me.
Wouldn't it have been alot cheaper and easier for the owners to just hire a hitman? If they walk round Hackney a bit I heard theres a young lad who will knock on peoples doors and shoot them in the face for £50.
I can't think of another Hull City person that has put the club through so much grief as this guy, even David Lloyd who shut us out of Boothferry Park and was the cause of so much scorn can't match JB. Yes I suppose Duffen and co could be candidates, but I doubt it.
