Donny may be loaded but that doesn't always translate into ambition for a club or for the player in question in the short term. No disrespect to Donny but I did read that Billy Sharp doesn't want to be involved in a relegation scrap.
blackburn have money, look at their moves for ronaldinho. however, does mean they are investing it or are attractive to go to.
We'll just have to wait to see what Billy decides. Who ever he chooses is obviously the most attractive team to go to. It's nice to know we are a more attractive team to go to than Saints, Ipswich, Burnley, Leeds and whoever else he turned down.
As of yet we are the only team along with Donny who can talk to Sharp Sharp has made a big deal out of the location of a potential new club so i cant see him considering Fulham. We will be able to outdo anyone on wages. I think Donny are just offering him a new contract to save face with tgeir fans. I still think he will come here
Atm, we are the only club willing to meet his contract clause fee, but its still early Jan, so anything could happen. Its better than Maynard though, we have actually been given permission to speak to the player.
