I think there will be more reservation from us if he does sign due to the fact we thought Beckford would be our 20 a season striker.

As long as he puts the effort in, i dont mind, mainly because it could create goals for other players. weve seen Nugent turn situations where their defenders are comfortable with the ball and he manages to get a Leicester corner out of it.

    Tweet from Stringer

I'd imagine Bill Sharp will be an LCFC player by Weds, terms won't be a problem

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, I really didn't think that things could get any funnier. Are you ever going to sign anyone?

What chance do they really have?

They've accepted a bid from us (which shows they are not mega keen on keeping him) and they are currently looking dead cert for relegation.

I think we activated a release clause so I don't think they had a choice as to whether to accept it. Apparently our talks went well today. The ball is well and truly in Billy's court.

I thought Billy Sharp would be leaving but not to Leicester. If the Donny directors want to keep him they can out bid anything yours can. There are local rumours saying £40k although I think that is a bit high as you are only offering about £28k, probably £30k to £35k is more like what they'll offer.

Donnys directors are some of the richest in the country. 3 of them are in the football top 100 rich list and the rest of them aren't exactly paupers.
