I'm sure that he'll tell you eventually, but he'll have probably signed by then <laugh>

If the deal is up to the point where the player is looking for a house, it probably will be <laugh>

In a way it makes sense because his contract ends in the summer so Bristol will accept the best personal terms whatever the money

I still think they'll get more than we can afford for him.. they rejected £7m in the summer so he'd still probably command a fee of around £4m, god knows why they continue to risk it.

Maynard rumour has to be sh!te. Billy Sharp would fit into city system far better than Nicky Maynard.

Heard by a few people now (not sure how "in the know" they are) that Hammil isnt coming.

Was always a strange one that, why would he leave wolves after only 6 months ? It's not like Mick to buy a player then sell him in the next available window.. especially when he has featured quite a bit for wolves this season.

It was a year ago, but yes it does still seem like a strange deal.

Unfortunately there is no proof your mate knows anything. He hasn't revealed a single thing more than we already know and there is just as much chance he's taking the pi55.
It's very easy to claim you (meaning he) have inside information without revealing any facts and then take credit for whatever the outcome turns out to be. No doubt he won't tell you the identity of the mystery player until it's commonly known.

I get where you're coming from but as I said, refrain from saying I'm spouting **** as I've had over 1000 posts on here and have never wummed or spread random rumours..
if OLM says he can't tell us who it is, (I know he was persuaded in the Mannone and Hammill instances but the point remains) I don't see you jumping on his back.

I'm happy to give anyone a chance before calling them a wum.

Does anyone know whats happening with Hammill?

I don't know if I'm misreading this mate but I'm not calling you a WUM or jumping on your back. All I'm saying is that your mate might be having a laugh.
Edit. I can see where the mix-up is now. I edited my post to change 'you' to 'you (meaning he)' because I thought it could be misinterpreted and you have responded from the pre-edited version. Soz I should have made myself more clear.

I know, apologies, I misread it the first time around and was just about to change my comment before you responded.

It's quite possible, I posted the thread with full confidence that I would be told within 5 or 10 minutes of starting it, but it backfired slightly.

How do you do that? Ie quote from another thread? Surely there's a simpler way than C&P?

And Doncaster have offered Sharp a new deal to keep him from going to Lesta!

If Sharp does not end up @ Lesta then i fear for Negative Nigel Pearsons position as manager long term. :emoticon-0102-bigsm :emoticon-0102-bigsm :emoticon-0102-bigsm :emoticon-0102-bigsm

But back to Hull City, could the mystery player be Derbys Paul Green ? :emoticon-0105-wink:who Clough jnr has said will go in Jan and Nick is a fan of his. Just saying like.

Didn't know clough had said that. If that's the case I'd fully expect us to go from here after what AP said the other week.
