Champion. Good lad is Fraze. Quick and direct, defences don't like it.

Even the lasses team are thriving atm after thrashing Forest 6-1, sitting joint top with Leeds & have a game in hand.

Folks sorry about update, just got home with a sleeping 7 yr old, me power on me phone packed up just before Reed made it 3 nil...Blackburn pulled one back in the very lasr minute that Gordon should really have claimed. Overall a very very impressive reserve performance Frasier looked a wee bit off the pace but took his goal very well, very impressed with our number 4 (captain didnt catch the lads name) Thought Deakon who came on for Frasier looked very impressive and was a constant threat on the right wing. For me though (and i hope I dont upset folk, young Noble is NOT ready for the first team) His head went down too easy when things wernt runnin for him and at times I felt his work rate was lacking, he was much better in the second half though. what struck me though is this very young Sunderland team looked very good indeed, they were passing like bloody Barcelona at times !, a very well organised and hard working side and performance, was dead proud of them being one of only about 5 Sunderland supporters in the ground. Even the night started well when I parked up next to Malcolm Crosby and he walked in with me and the bairn and we managed to have a good gab.....it sure is a nice time to be a Sunderland supporter, its almost as if the MON factor has become infectious and spread throughout the club

I think something must not be quite right with Noble as it seems strange that both Bruce and O'Neill have not yet played him. I would think that if he was up to scratch MON would have played him as he has with McClean and Killgallon

I think thats a good point, the lad undoubtedly has talent but must admit he showed very little of it last night for the reserves, going out on loan may do him the world of good, hes not ready for SAFC first team action yet IMO
