Are both looking for houses in Hull. This is the first time in my Not606 history that I've claimed to be 'in the know' about anything so at least try and refrain from claiming I'm 'spouting ****'. The Josh King part is of course no surprise as we've been expecting it for a while, but this other player I'm told, is not Hammill and is not this backup keeper we're looking for, it's somebody else. Personally I had no idea we were in for anyone other than those three (King/Hammill/Keeper) but it seems we are on the brink of another. Unfortunately the bastard knows how badly I want to find out and is refusing to tell me, I'm still working on forcing it out of him! I'm sure OLM knows who it is anyway, hopefully one of you will be kind enough to share
Someone on another thread has just said the Hammill deal is off, but I haven't managed to find out anything yet. I know of a potential target for central midfield and a couple of names of wingers if the Hammill deal fell through, but I have no info on a new deal that's actually sorted.

Henry would be quality, but I reckon the one he means is Liam Feeney. Both would suit me, although I always thought Henry was similar to Cairney, so to if we were in for him, it would suggest Cairney might go out on loan. Shame really, he had a cracker on Saturday.
Cairney is supposed to be headed out on loan this window anyway, so that would make more sense than Feeney. The tweet says 'last season' and they only signed Feeney last summer. Anyway, like I said, it's the only tweet of the account, it's about as reliable as football-rumours.com at the moment as far as I'm concerned.
James Henry is a player I know we've looked at, but I've not yet heard that anything about a deal being near. Edit - Thinking about it, I seem to remember an article a couple of days ago saying he was going to Ipswich.

It doesn't sound like I'm going to get an answer after all so apologies to those who might think this thread was a bit pointless.. All I've got is what I've said in the title, along with the fact that the deal is pretty much 95% done, just a few little things with the player to sort out (hence he's looking at houses). He also said he's a very good player of whom fans will be very satisfied with. Fingers crossed it's Messi. In all seriousness though I should make it clear that the Henry rumour and my source are two totally separate things.. he does fit the bill but it could quite easily be just a rumour.
