    Neymar has just won goal of the year at the Ballon D'Or for his goal in the Brazilian League for Santos against Flamengo.

    Definitely the best out of the three available. Hope Benny's goal gets nominated next year.

    (Given some bloke from Glentoran got nominated last year, there's hope!)

    Genuinely don't think Neymar's goal was that good. There were a couple of nice tricks but best goal anywhere in the whole of 2011? Not a chance.

    Mind you, wasn't Rooney's shinner nominated? :confused:

    The nominees were that, Rooney's shinned overhead kick, and a Messi goal that was a nice little chipped finish but nothing really special.
