Why has it taken so long for Situ's paperwork to come through? Surely they had it all ready from the last transfer window and just had to resubmit within the deadline this time? Anybody else worried about this?
Huw just got back from France to sort the paperwork ?? http://www.thisissouthwales.co.uk/Swansea-City-Rodgers-set-tie-trio/story-14323078-detail/story.html Situ, meanwhile, hopes to become a fully-fledged Swansea player more than four months later than planned. Rodgers thought the 19-year-old had joined his squad in August, but the move was put on hold as Fifa refused to grant international clearance. Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has since flown to France in an attempt to sort out the paperwork, and Situ’s transfer should now be completed.
What the f*ck are we doing wrong. Everyone else gets their clearence thhrough much more quickly than us. Surely it is time to employ some professional to ensure we get it right first time and cleared quickly.
well if there is any balls up through this transfer window, think there will be a p'd off supporters to be honest....
paperwork has not been our strong point but we have plenty of time so we should be ok.....lets hope we dont go for a player with a few days of the transfer window left with our track record, someone just dont have a clue what to do at the club when it comes to transfers of foreign players....
I'm beginning to think Stevie Wonder could do a better job than the fcukwits in charge of paperwork at the Liberty.
It's about time that Huw Jenkins got an assistant, that is qualified in executing and progress chasing the paperwork, we are shocking on this, and it's now time to get professional, please Jenkins!................ please log in to view this image
We have touched on this a few times in the past, the correct Word to describe the club in this is pathetic!! Premier on the pitch L 2 off it by the looks of it. I was told by a few people that brenden was really pissed off about this last transfer window, lucky our squad preget much remained injury free. You would have thought the club learned the hard way after the edgar transfer, seems they learnt nothing at all!
Just been announced that the paperwork is completed. Thank goodness for that! Now we've sorted that out let's hope for some news on a new contract for Brendan soon!!
Being the only non English football club ever in the Premier League certainly doesn't help . Detailed Information sharing between Uefa , FAW & FA surely must take a good part of the blame . It may take a bit to iron out the problems of communications . A lot of deals happen in the last few days of the window & it's hardly fair if we half to jump through more hoops that the others IMO
Put it this way .. Say the whole time line for Situ 's transfer was identical leading up to the closure of the last transfer window except it was QPR doing the asking .... He would have been a QPR player IMO
Think you might be right Cracker. I think people have just about realised we're in the Premier League now and we're not here to make the numbers up!
well we should take that into account cracker when we go for players......there should be no excuses as they know the score...
We got to know it's going to happen before we take it into account 99 . Did you notice the sarcasm in Rodgers 's words when he said we will get our transfers done quickly in January . What happened to us late in last transfer window was unfair , simple
i know what you are saying but its not the first time we have been in this situation, the board must have known that it takes us longer to sort out the paperwork even between fellow clubs as we are welsh....its a pathetic rule anyway and should be scrapped....
Everything for all clubs should be equal 99 , how we react to it not being equal shouldn't be the problem or our fault .
