"Yes why not, it is possible. I have always supported the PSG."

"Then it’s a club that is attractive. However, it will be difficult to do that in January. I am in Newcastle and fans like me."

"And then the transfer market will be closed when I go back to the CAN (African Cup Of Nations) , so I do not focus on it. My first goal is the CAN and to get a good result."

"I will then continue to try to play well for Newcastle. We undertook something, and I’d like to go all the way."

    I'm so confused. <cry>

It's nothing really. It would be like a toon fan playing for another team and admitting that he wants to play for the team he supports at one point.

I've translated that as 'I'd be happy to play for PSG next season?'

I translated that as "I'm not leaving in January, then I'll see what comes next."

I despise the January Transfer Window. Why can't we just keep all our best players and add one or two. It can't be that difficult.

    Interview with Steve Bruce:

" Would you like to have managed your boyhood club Newcastle?"
"Yes that would have been amazing, but the unwashed were paying me millions and to be fair a jobs a job"

If he has said it, then maybe he likes the idea of getting his hands on some of that Qatari cash next year. Who could blame him. He has been asked if he'd like to sign for PSG basically? So some French reporter has asked him a loaded question. He has hedged his bets as any footballer does by being nice about them and his current employer. That is before getting into the accuracy of this reporting. If I had a pound for every time a french reporter has misquoted a footballer playing in this country, I'd be in the Maldives right now not sat in Jesmond at work.

He's a PSG supporter, It's no different to a Newcastle fan at say, Villa, saying that they'd like to play for Newcastle one day.

    Bit of a non-story really.

    Once again, total non-story.

"Would you play for PSG in the future?"

"Yes, why not it's possible, I've always supported them"

    Big deal.
