I posted last night about something dying.

How ironic, turned out to be Warnocks last game at MK Dons Franchise of all teams ............... because I get the feeling today, thats the route we are now going down. Maybe thats innevitable, as success needs to breed success these days.

QPR wont die, but maybe it's a new breed of fans to take it forward ............. prem newbies who are happy for Sven type managers, new stadium in the backarse of somewhere, headline signings coming but wont be around for long etc etc. I have no doubt at all the owners are doing what they think is right for the club, and for once, we are not being shafted for cash by owners who dont give a toss. I wish them well, and I believe their statement about being a tough decision

Maybe MK Dons was my last game too, of to bed with a heavy heart and a drop of Merrydown to ease the pain..

Not bitter, QPR have to evolve, I know.............. but after 40 years this doesnt feel right, yesterday didnt feel right (hearing our fans sing "premier league, you're having a laugh) and certainly not like the QPR ive been proud to support.

Good luck to the lads carrying the flag forward, I will always be QPR thru n thru but maybe it's time to get my footie fix down my local St Neots Town FC ............ who knows, if it all goes tits up alah Leeds / Forest / Bradford / Swindon / Coventry etc etc, and we end up in Div 3 again the likes of me might be back

    U rrrrrrrr ssss

I can see where you're coming from Jalfrezi, but the top level is not what it was like when we were last there. The money that is now in the game is producing a beast that is alien to what we were brought up on and the whole game is changing year by year. Keep the faith that we can at least produce something worthwhile out of all this...

Hard decisions are taken in football clubs, the clubs evolve, QPR is no different. It was always thus. NW is a QPR legend. He'll get another job before long, trying to take another Championship team up. And if we play them in a cup, NW will get a warm reception.

TBH Jal I sort of preferred the undulating inconsistency of QPR when we were 'average' in the Championship. I could always get a ticket - can't now, my expectations were lower and the result - funnily enough - was sort of irrelevant (well it wasn't but I didn't mind too much as long as we played well and I had a decent pie).

The Prem is a whole different ball game and the stakes are higher hence more businesslike decisions get made.

I like being in the Prem but i sort of miss Donny away on a wet Tuesday in February

Not supported them for as many as 40 years, but I've been there over the last 25 years and whilst playing the likes of Cheltenham and Rushden wasn't inspiring, there was at least a link between the skill on show and the salary burden.

Yesterday's attitude and performance was woeful, by players earning at least in excess of £15k per week. The chant was actually an ironic echo from the MK supporters, but it was aimed at the players to remind them what we as fans expect.

For me, it was born out of watching players with little spirit or desire to justify their huge salaries. There was little or no pressing of the MK Dons midfield, a lack of creativity or guile, limited movement by the two attackers and no tracking back.

At one point DJ Campbell watched the ball amble towards the sideline and simply gave up almost 20 yards away, no wonder we all exploded. Similarly watching Jay Bothroyd amble back, then get caught offside was just crazy.

In summary, too many lacklustre performances yesterday. Yes, we expect more as fans due to the investment and ambition, but to go out with such a tepid display and bag a lucky draw is simply unacceptable.

I'd have rather we hit the bar, post and had awful refereeing decisions go against us, but finish with a team of players striving every ouce of energy to win, than watch the turgid lethargic fare on show yesterday.

Stuart Wardley (remember him) not exactly blessed with skill or talent but he tried when given the opportunity of a footie career. If only we could find a team of Gareth Ainsworth's (that's skill and bottle / endeavour) and we would be alright.
