"PSG have a surreal recruitment drive ahead. Could you join the club?"

    - Yes, why not. It's possible. I have always supported PSG. Also, it's an attractive club. However, it will be difficult in January. I feel good at Newcastle, the fans like me. Also, the transfer window will be closed when I come back from the ACoN, so I'm not focussing on it. My first aim is the ACoN and to do well there. I will then continue to play well for Newcastle. We undertook something, and I'd like to go on to the end."

    What are you talking about?

It's an article with a direct quote from the player. Doesn't necessarily say anything concrete, but an interesting quote worthy of a thread.

I think PSG will aim higher, they only play one striker and already have Gameiro. They can shell out for a 20/30 million striker, have even been linked with Pato recently.

Why would PSG want him with their funding?! They could get anyone they wanted almost.

Have a feeling we will keep him in January but in the summer he will be off.

Demba will stay, then we will do a Tiote-esque contract for him in the ensuing months.

Why be negative, this question is tongue in cheek, we are an easy story and if all the rumours about us bringing in players were true we would have an amazing side

By his last sentence, he either means that he intends to stay through the length of his contract, or stay til the end of the season.

Don't see why not. Ba is playing as well as anybody in Europe right now. Infact, he's probably one of the best players they could sign outside of the untouchable elite. Not to mention a fan of the club.

How is that relevant to the article or what Ba has said?

At the very least I'd say he's here until the summer and probably past that too. He seems like a decent bloke and he's enjoying his time here.

I agree and hopefully you're right. However, this is the same player who attempted to force a move through to Stuttgart by going on strike, and then did the same again in order to move to England. He also states on his official website that it is his dream to play for one of Arsenal, Chelsea or Bayern Munich.

Him being a seemingly nice bloke hasn't stopped him trying to better his career in the past by moving clubs.

Dharmash Seth (or something like that) was on skysportsnews earlier today and said that sources close to Demba Ba have told him he has no interest in leaving because he loves the club and the fans and that he intends on focussing on Senegal and Newcastle United.
