We seem to be forgetting ONE thing about Ba

In all this talk of Ba's release clause and possible bids , consider this:

Why did we sign him for FREE? The lad has a degenerative knee condition, which means he can't pass a medical to save his life. So to sign him is risky , but when your paying nothing ( probably an agent fee ) it's a limited risk. To pay £10m+ for him is probably something most clubs wouldn't get past their insurers, and you raise the risk massively. I haven't seen much in the press to explain exactly what his knee condition means long term , but for all we know it might mean he has a shorter career.

Who out there would take such a risk.......?

I find it funny how Harry Redknapp is saying "anyone could have had him last year" well if he was free why didnt you take him you fat slob? We put a lot of work into bringing him here and helping him get the goals and now he wants to just come in and take him?! He's got no problem stirring up trouble in other clubs but when its his own he complains to the high heavens.

 

It'll happen all month, easy page filling and paper shifting.

 

I'm relying on the fact that he's in Africa and Redknapp isn't. Otherwise if the £10m clause is real i wouldn't expect him to be here come February.

 

He can't even leave this window anyway, it'd be his 3rd club in a year which against the rules.

 

Dont think anyone will come in for Ba but I can see a massive 11th hour bid coming in for Tiote.

 

He didn't play for West Ham this season.

"Players may be registered for a maximum of three clubs during the period from 1 July until 30 June of the following year. During this period, the player is only eligible to play in Official Matches for two clubs."

 

Why would anyone take a risk on signing him for £10million?

Just been watching SSN and that guy who does all the transfer stuff said that Demba is 100% behind Newcastle and is settled in the city. Also SSN said that Ba is paid on appearance fee's and smaller wage due to his injury history so I think we should just offer a new contract, raise his wages and renegotiate the release cause or get rid of it all together which a player 100% committed should be up for but don't think it would be that simple with Ashley.

 

Ashley gave Tioté a new contract after a few months when it was clear he was well... Tioté.
