There was a bit of a legends outing in the bar at yesterdays game, I bumped into Justin Whittle and his daughter before kick off, then spent half time with Ash and Deano(who were on good form, if slightly pissed). Also, Simon Grayson was at yesterdays game and I know that during Friday, McShane was a last minute addition, as Rosenior was originally planned to start. I asked on the TWS board if they might be after a centre back/right back and they are, so maybe he was there to take a look at him. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking.
I bumped into Ash at half time briefly in the premier cub bar, so no doubt probably saw you then OLM...... You friends with Ash? Never saw Deano, but had the pleasure of bumping into Justin Whittle to. It one thing i am glad Adam has done since coming back to the club, you know the legends of the past will always be treated well whilst he is at the club. Also saw someone in a Barnsley tracksuit yesterday, not sure what he was doing there or if it was just a Barnsley fan wanting to watch City.
I am friends with Ash, I was next to him in a khaki parka and a city scarf during half time, but I've only met Deano a couple of times before and I don't really know him very well at all.
Saw Ash in the Prem suite, looking trimmer than when he left us. I know there is abit of stigma to do with his relationship with Jimmy and the way he left but I hope as soon as he hangs up his boot the club give him the chance to come back in some capacity. Would be nice for him to do his badges with us.
Ash is back every weekend(including Saturday's if he's not playing) and it's not unusual to see him at games, he's also out a fair bit in some dodgy pubs with Deano(they pick the strangest pubs to drink in). Ash says Deano picks them. He's still mates with Jimmy, so knew he wouldn't be there.
It was good to see Ash and Deano having a chat and a pint with Waggy before the game. Showed a real bit of class!
Think we may have spoke, but i only very briefly spoke to Ash. Deano i've seen twice before and well he's not part of my drinking crowd, he's part of everyone's drinking crowd.
I wouldn't trust Simon Grayson. I know a leeds fan and he told me the long story about what has allegedly been going on at their club. Apparently he's lost the dressing room completely and Master Bates is waiting to kick him out.
Seen them out and about round Old Town & Lizard Lounge in particular. Mate nearly got smacked by Deano but Ash was sound. Saw Burnsey and Swanny out the week before christmas and all. Funny how you'd never expect to meet Burnsey in a takeaway Thought the applause for Delaney was great.
I was pleased with the response Delaney got when he went off, but disappointed that he didn't look up and acknowledge it. Have you seen Burnsy's bird? Freaky dwarf.
