We're looking at Darth Vader as a centre back option too. <ok>

Our winger bid is six figures, rather than seven and I expect the deal to happen.

Anything under a 1m for him sounds a bargain, I really rate him.

We were talking about him like some sort of multi-million pound pipedream this time last year, now it's a real possibility. I love the Allams.

I hope the deal goes through. Firstly great player with plenty of potential. Secondly it sounds like the club Skywalker is coming from might put the money towards capturing one of Leceister targets. Wouldn't that be nice.

    McLean £1.3M, Fryatt £1.2M?

I wasn't sure we were getting someone for £2M, I was giving the highest conceivable amount for us to bid for someone as we've said Sharp is likely to be too expensive with him expected to go for about £3M. The fact our bid hasn't been rejected says it's at least close to what they want for him, and the lower the fee for our target the more surprising it is that if other clubs are after a winger they'd be after Stewart instead.

Outstanding piece of business if it happens, truly outstanding. I guess it remains a massive 'if' though
