Phew In that case I'm inclined to go with the second of my two possibles... CS will only go if we get daft money. If Caleb Folan was worth over a million, the cone headed, socially ******ed turncoat is going to have to start wearing trousers with deeper pockets.
Because nigel is being a **** hoping that cameron will ask for a transfer forcing city to deal with them or have a unhappy player in the dressing room. We shouldnt be shocked that he's acting like a **** when he clearly is one!
Not a chance, we have a policy here of not offering players twice what they're worth. We tried it a couple of seasons ago, but it didn't end well at all.
My only concern is with this being so public. Nigel was always so protective of things coming out so he must be very confident of getting him as a result of either hoping the player gets his head turned or by Stewart's agent offering encouragement to Pearson.
I dont agree with it but thats what the owners are offering people. We paid Yakubu 40K a week, Nugent and Mills are thought to be on around 30K a week. I dont think admin is going to happen anytime in the near future, the owners are extremely wealthy and are going to be here long term and are legit
Its stupid, for starters i dont think Billy Sharp is that good to warrant them sort of wages. Around 10K a week would of been more then enough in my opinion for someone like him. But he is a very good striker at this level and should score goals
During his time with us Nigel went about his business quietly and we didn't know about deals until after they were done. Now he's telling Sky how much he's bid on a player, when he knows full well that the bid is not good enough to be accepted, he just being a ****.
Wasnt Konchesky publicly on 60k a week at Liverpool? I cant see him taking a massive wage drop to go down a division... Also, £4m for Cam and we would DEFO sell. People thinking he's not for sale and certainly not to Lester are deluding themselves.
It depends on who is leaking it, our club is very cut off from the media since Sven left so i dont think it would be from our end. The only way i can see it being you is if you want a bidding war started. But i reckon it will be the agent doing to talking
Agreed, he's just trying to unsettle Cam. He probably has a good relationship with him and is prepared to double his salary. If he was serious with this bid he has made, he wouldnt be publicly talking about it. Expect a lower profile £2.5m bid to come.
I dont know what he was on at Liverpool but i reckon he will be on a prem wage here. No one has said Hull wont sell to us just that it will cost alot for a deal to be done. Saying you wont sell to us no matter what could lead you to cut your nose off to spite your face as stupidly this season we have offered 9M, 6.5M and 5M for players
Adam Pearson said he has an excellent relationship with the agent (all our ex-united lot have the same one) so I'm not sure the agent would be too keen to rock the boat though.
What happens though if you want to sell players? Who would take Nugent or Mills on that sort of money or Beckford.
We currently have four lads signed permanently from Man United, one on loan and another due to join on Monday or Tuesday. We(along with Royal Antwerpt and Molde) are currently the most important clubs with regard to taking on United youth players, no agent is going to risk screwing that up.
NP's just bitter because pappa allam didn't make his transfer back to le$ta easy....he probably thinks le$ta should be in the top 6 right now and if he'd got there earlier they would be.....ha ha not bloody likely. In my opinion we should just ignore the daft kunt.
Luckily Nugent has worked out for us when he could of backfired, and Mills has done well for us aswell except the red cards. But with the massive price tag on his head people expect miracles from him Beckford cant be sold this season anyway as he has already played for Everton and us and we breach FIFA rules that you cant play for 3 clubs in 1 year. So a loan is the only way he can leave this season The wages are miles too high for my liking but if the owners are happy paying it let them
^ Not sure selling CS would risk anything. The agent gets a kick, CS doubles his wage (or something like that), and it would not affect anything in place at Manure. CS is ours, so it isn't treading on any other club's toes.
