    You know what makes **** all sense? They someone down there to go and film each match at the same cost as it would take to do it live then have someone edit it down which costs even more. Why don't they just release the footage on the internet? Everyone's happy, everyone can watch their match at the same time and at their own convenience and they don't have to spend time editing the footage essentially wasting 99% of time the person filming the game spent down there.

    I just cannot fathom the logic of a highlights programme that is supposedly produced for football fans, but feels we'd rather watch clips of supporters falling asleep at St. Andrews instead of seeing Ben Arfa's goal again.

    If Rooney had scored it we'd have had half an hour of analysis and multiple replays from impossible angles, but no we get that shambolic coverage.

    Perhaps if the editor of the show had taken note of the utterly bored spectators of the Brum 'match' he/she would have realised it hadn't been worth the extended spot it enjoyed earlier on.

    Personally I don't think we got enough chit-chat about Ince's offspring either... Very disappointing.

    Blink and you'll miss them. Disgraceful. The 3rd Round is supposed to be the best day in the English Football Calendar, instead we get ITV taking the piss with 1 minute of highlights. Football fans all around the country will be fuming they only got to see the tiny clip of their club in action. ****ing joke.

    I now appreciate MOTD a lot more!

    ITV's coverage:

    - ****e punditry
    - Ads every 5 minutes
    - Ridiculously unbalanced highlights

    Will there be anywhere at all I can see better highlights? We didn't even get to see Willo hit the bar ffs!

    I don't give a **** about the length of highlights. There was 25 fixtures and ours was the most boring one. Ben Arfa is a king and we all ****ing know it <diva> Who cares what everyone else thinks. Should be used to it by now. We won the game, I've seen the goals, I'm happy.

    Cheers. The reason ITV show us last is because if they showed us first , We'd all switch off and deprive them of viewers!!!!!!!!!!!

    It was probably the most open home game I've been to this season! Great game and we could have had 5 or 6.

    Disgraceful that ITV have 10 minutes of inane discussion about racism, then 5 minutes of rimming Paul Ince's son before showing 30 seconds of our match! What a pisstake!

    oh aye not the game itself, but the tie. newcastle v blackburn isn't hugely exciting for a FA cup game is what i'm saying. and they've only time to show goals of most of them.

    i'm not surprised, i wasn't expecting extended highlights of our match and with 25 fixtures to show, who would?


    i've seen the goals, i'm happy, not bothered about coverage too much. complaining won't get us anywhere! i'm just happy we're through <laugh>

    bring on man city <monster> <laugh>

    Looks like the only full highlights will be those from nufcTV when they come oot. Shambolic stuff from ITV, ****e channel.

    If the BBC and ITV want to cut costs they should just sack all the pointless punditry and sets and just show every match in full highlights with none of the other ****e. That way we all win.
